Stuartpuram Police Station is a 1991 Tollywood Action film directed by Yandamuri Veerendranath and produced by K. S. Rama Rao. Starring Chiranjeevi, Vijayashanti and Nirosha in the lead roles, the film had Sarath Kumar playing the main antagonist. The film is a remake of the 1983 Hindi film Ardh Satya that starred Om Puri and Smita Patil. Ilaiyaraja provided the musical score. The film was a box-office failure.
Synopsis
Inspector Rana Pratap (Chiranjeevi) comes to Stuartpuram, a place well known for thieves of all varieties. He starts reforming each of them, by showing them better ways to live. His real intention is to clean up the entire town, where once upon a time his father was also a thief. His father was trapped by few big-wigs in town into a robbery case, accusing him of stealing ornaments from temple. Unable to bear this insult and torture, his parents commit suicide, and young Ranapratap decides to become a Policeman and clean up the place by pricking out the root causes behind this problem. He is assisted by Vijayasanthi and a girl next door, Nirosha. With their help, Ranapratap manages to dig the closed ornaments robbery case, and catch the real culprit (Sarath Kumar).Acteurs

Naattamai (Sarathkumar) is a very kind-hearted, disciplined man. He sits on the ancestral throne in his village to do justice (similar to panchayat). He hears all the cases and gives solutions and punishments to the wrong-doers. His wife, Khushboo admires and respects him a lot. His brothers Pasupathi (sarathkumar) and Raja Ravindra fear for him and also have a lot of respect for him as he has brought them up as his children. The young Sarathkumar marries Meena, daughter of an industrialist. She at first never liked Naatamai and her husband for being so timid before his brother but later transforms after knowing his greatness from her father.Raja Ravindra loves his paternal cousin(Ponnambalam)'s daughter (Sanghavi). In the flashback, Periya Naatamai(Vijayakumar) father of naatamai orders Ponnambalam to marry his servant's daughter whom he raped, though he is his sister's son. His brother-in-law shoots at him as he is disappointed by his verdict.Enraged Periya Naatamai gives his final verdict before dying to abandon their family and whoever visits his house will receive the same punishment and also not to share even a glass of water with them. Ponnambalam from then builds envy on his uncle's family and waits for an opportunity to take revenge on them. He plans to bring a lady (Subhashri) as a teacher to the school in the village and tells her to make young Sarathkumar fall for her. She does so to save her father who is in the hands of Ponnambalam. He kills her and makes the villagers believe that Sarathkumar has done this. Naatamai sentences 10 years of exile for his brother's family. Now Ponnambalam comes to know of his daughter's love and tries to kill Raja Ravindra with the help of his goons. Sarathkumar goes in rescue of him and pregnant Meena goes to Naatamai to convey this message. Manorama rushes to Nattamai and reveals the truth and tells that he punished his brother without committing any mistake. Naatamai takes revenge on Ponnambalam and dies on knowing that he gave a wrong verdict. Now younger Sarathkumar is shown taking the ancestral throne from his brother.

The story revolves around Raja (Darshan), an auto-rickshaw driver, who falls in love with Rukmini (Deepa Sannidhi). Palamattathu Varghese Mappila (Saikumar) is a wealthy Nasrani and retired captain from the Indian Army. He has four children, Christy (Mohanlal), Joji (Dileep), Jessy (Lakshmi Gopalaswamy) and Stella (Kanika). Christy is a high profile police informer who is working in Mumbai and getting high amounts as remuneration. His brother Joji goes to Italy to study theology, but later opts out of it after he falls in love with Meenakshi (Kavya Madhavan), daughter of the state home minister (Devan). His family has no clear idea about the nature of Christy's activities before Christy's brother-in-law tells a lie about him as Christy finds about brother-in-law's relationship between rowdies and cases which he was arrested for sex-racketing . All these come as a shock to Varghese Mappila. Varghese Mappila kicks Christy out of their house believing the brother-in-law. Joji is having a relationship with Meenakshi. Her parents come to know about that. And while returning home she is being kidnapped. For regaining the daughter her father calls Christy. Christy finds that his brother-in-law was the person who kidnapped Meenakshi. He fights with his brother-in-law and safely brings Meenakshi back to her home. The next day, police finds that Christy's brother-in-law was killed. Police arrests Christy for the crime. Christy's friend (Sarath Kumar) brings him out of the jail. Meanwhile, a police officer (Suresh Gopi) marries Stella. Christy helps Joji to marry Meenakshi by bringing her out of her house. Both Christy and the police officer finds out the killer of their brother-in-law was Joji. Knowing that the killer was Joji, Christy tells the police officer to arrest him instead of his beloved brother Joji.Meawhile, the villains attack mappila.To take revenge of his fathers death, christy along with gopi and sarath kumar kill the villains.

Jagannathan, (Sarath Kumar) fondly known as Jaggubhai is an Indian Police Officer with sharp methods. His way of dealing the criminals strikes terror in the underground world. Tough is just an ordinary word to describe this upright, straight forward police officer. Jaggubhai is sent to Australia on an important mission to deal with anti social elements there. In Australia, Jaggubai meets Ilavarasi (Srisha) and they both fall in love with each other. Samundi prepared his sister Rasathi's wedding and he took her to the temple. There, he clashed with some thugs. In the confrontation, Rasathi was pushed in the lake and drowned. The wedding was cancelled and Samundi's family left his village.
