Sanrio Co., Ltd. (株式会社サンリオ, Kabushikigaisha Sanrio) is a Japanese company that designs, licenses and produces products focusing on the kawaii (cute) segment of Japanese popular culture. Their products include stationery, school supplies, gifts and accessories that are sold worldwide and at specialty brand retail stores in Japan. Sanrio's best-known character is Hello Kitty (aka Kitty White), a little anthropomorphic cat girl. With her red bow and no visible mouth except in most of the animations, she's one of the most successful marketing brands in the world.

Besides selling character goods, Sanrio takes part in movie production and publishing. They own the rights to both the Peanuts and Mr. Men characters in Japan. Their animatronics branch, called Kokoro Company, Ltd. ("Kokoro" being Japanese for "heart"), is best known for the Actroid android. They participate in the fast food industry, running a franchise of KFC in Saitama.

Genres Comédie dramatique, Aventure
Thèmes Transport, Aviation
Acteurs Katharine Hepburn, Dennis Dimster, Jayne Marie Mansfield, Denise Alexander

Eccentric Miss Pudd (Hepburn) is the owner of a store she considers an antique museum, a sort of Noah's Ark of the past, but most would call a junkyard. She frequently refuses to part with her merchandise because of its sentimental or historical value, but she does agree to loan some items to two boys, Alby (Kevin McKenzie) and Chris (Dennis Dimster), who befriend her, and who explain that they are repairing an antique hot air balloon that belonged to the older boy, Kevin's grandfather, an adventurous stunt man named The Great Sandusky. In honor and memory of Kevin's grandfather, who died one year earlier and is sorely missed by Kevin who apparently has no father, they plan to take the balloon aloft to celebrate the man's birthday. A curious element of the film is that the boys' mothers are talked about, and one is heard from the kitchen, but never seen. Other than the postman, Kate Hepburn's Miss Pudd is the primary adult in the film, a sort of wobbly Auntie Mame. By today's standards, it would be preposterous to imagine that this much shenanigans could take place, including the noisy demolition of a backyard greenhouse, tower, and workshop, with no other adult, let alone Kevin's mother, noticing or caring. But then, perhaps, even in the 70s', this seemingly benign film may have carried that ironic undercurrent of social commentary.

Réalisé par Fred Wolf, Fred Wolf
Origine Etats-Unis
Genres Drame, Fantasy, Aventure, Animation
Acteurs Peter Ustinov, Neville Brand, Cliff Norton, Andy Devine, Cliff Osmond, Sally Kellerman

The mouse and his child are two parts of a single small wind-up toy, which must be wound up by means of a key in the father's back. After having been unpacked, they discover themselves in a toy shop where they befriend a toy elephant and toy seal. The child mouse proposes staying at the shop to form a family, which the other toys ridicule. After breaking due to a fall from the counter, they are thrown in the trash. Outside, they become enslaved by Manny the rat, who runs a casino in the city dump and uses broken wind-up toys as his slave labor force. With the aid of a psychic frog, the mice escape and meet various animal characters on a quest of becoming free and independent self-winding toys. They rediscover the elephant and seal, who are somewhat broken down. Together they manage to form a family and destroy the rat empire.
