The Wrong Woman is a 1995 film starring Nancy McKeon, Chelsea Field, and Michele Scarabelli, produced by Pierre David, written by Douglas Soesbe, and directed by Douglas Jackson.
Filmed as a movie for a true story featured on E! this suspense thriller involving a young woman. In June 1985 (Nancy McKeon) who is framed by her boss for the murder of the company's owner, (Gary Hudson) This was the recalling of the story starting at the beginning of the story now Melanie has to get a new job and a new apartment because of the police searching everywhere not knowing that she was the wrong person they were looking for. Later on a Woman Francine (Chelsea Field) is caught and questioned then a jury finds her innocent police do a lie detector test 1st Francine however is calm then the machine gives her a negative - reading saying she didn't do it focusing the case back on Melanie but later police go back to the evidence and find DNA but since there's not much technology to find anything much then five years later September 1990 police find out the DNA on body. Then a Young Lady (Michelle Scarabelli) finds a gun a 25 Caliber and reports it now with a necessary weapon and two pieces of evidence, Police (Grant Walker), (Bella Dunne), & (E.B. Johnson) check it Out and notices not only that it was a murder weapon it had Francine Coleman's DNA on the gun and then Melanie asks Police to present the evidence to the jury the police think it's a big decision but take the chance anyhow now a vengeful Melanie takes the evidence and confronts Francine then Melanie is off to go and Francine receives 30 to Life but then in the five months of the incarceration Francine dies of anemia. Then Melanie Marries and the Police make a surprise visit to the wedding then a big party is thrower and then after the wedding she is seen with Vince (Willis Sherman) running off in the car.
This was broadcast on CBS March 26, 1996. Subsequently, the film was released to video and is a frequent repeat on the Lifetime Network.Acteurs
