Tiger Number One (Bengali: টাইগার নাম্বার ওয়ান) (earlier titled Nababzada) is a Bengali action film directed by Shahin Shomon. and stars Shakib Khan, Nipun, Shahara, Amit Hasan, Misha Shadogar, Shiba Shanu, Kazi Haith, Abul Haith and Don among others. This is the first film in which Shakib Khan has played a villain role. Tiger Number One was released on Eid, 31 August 2011. The film opened to mixed to positive reviews, and was declared a commercial success. The film is one of the highest grossing movies of 2011.

Synopsis

The film is focused on an innocent young man who later becomes a dangerous killer in the city.

Hridoy (Shakib Khan) is the son of a head constable (Probir mitro). Hridoy is a guy with carefree attitude. He is beaten by a rival gang at night and was rescued by a beautiful girl Priya(Sahara). She pays his hospital bills and donates her blood. She is gone from the hospital by the time Hridoy became conscious. When Hridoy's friends tell him who rescued him, he starts loving her immediately for her good-heartedness though he did not see her. Priya later turns out to be the sister of the city police commissioner Misha Sawdagar.
