Biographie
Bennu Yıldırımlar studied at Erenköy Kız Lisesi and graduated from İstanbul University State Conservatory in 1990. From 1990 to1991, she gained experience at the Westminster Adult Education Institute in London. Yıldırımlar was chosen 'Most Promising new Actress' at the 6th Ankara Film Festival for her role in Ağrıya Dönüş in 1994. In 1999, she was given the 'Best Actress' Sadri Alışık award for her performance in the film Kaç Para Kaç.She is married to actor Bülent Emin Yarar since 1995.

Ali, a young petty thief, runs away from home and seeks refuge with his grandfather in Istanbul. His grandfather, an ex-military disciplinarian who at first did not even recognize his own grandson, is involved in a feud with his upstairs neighbor Nilgun, a middle-aged prostitute. We learn they are not quite what they appear to be in a spiraling chain of events that makes these three seemingly antagonistic characters come closer and closer together.
