Ken Kwek (born 7 May 1979) is a Singaporean film director, screenwriter and producer.
He is also a former journalist and playwright, known for his works satirizing authoritarianism, censorship and prejudice. His first play, I'll Have The Special, garnered four out of seven awards at the 2008 Short+Sweet Theatre Festival, whilst his first film, Porn Masala, won the Audience Choice Award (Short Film) at the Gotham Screen Film Festival in 2011. Porn Masala is part of a short film compendium, Sex.Violence.FamilyValues, that was banned by the Singapore government in 2012.
