Oomai Vizhigal (English: Silent Eyes) is a 1986 Tamil language drama film directed by R. Aravindraj. The film features Vijayakanth, Arun Pandian, Karthik, Chandrasekhar and Jaishankar in lead roles. The film was released on 15 August 1986 and completed 100 days in theaters. The film became a blockbuster and was a profitable venture.
Synopsis
A group of college girls come in a light blue matador to Chola Picnic Village.They take a room in a hotel at that Picnic Spot. At night they go out the beach,lit a bonfire and enjoy by singing and dancing. After the song gets over,all the girls return to the Hotel. One of them is missing, that is Vasanthi. She comes across a bell hung in a "Pie symbol" based structure. She goes near it and rings it for 3 times. At that time PRK came and looks into her eyes and Vasanthi starts running. At one point of time, PRK gets hold her hair and takes her along with him.Acteurs

When the movie opens Devan(Arun Pandiyan) murdering photographer Jeeva(Thalaivasal Vijay) in cold blood in his house. Jeeva strategically positions a video camera to capture the impending murder but Devan never shows his face to it. And when Jeeva shouts out the name of his killer before dying, the audio is lost at that point. While the police search for the killer, Devan zeroes in on Chetta (Saikumar) as his next target. He follows Chetta to Chandigarh but is apprehended by CBI officer Ratnavel(Vijayakanth). But once Ratnavel realises Chetta's true nature, he begins to help Devan, even hiring successful lawyer Chakravarthy(Karthik) to fight for him.

Rajappa (Karthik) is a young man who earns his livelihood by engaging in rowdyism. Despite pleas from his mother to stop him from engaging in nefarious activities, Rajappa is adamant on pursuing rowdyism. However when his mother herself becomes a victim of his doings, Rajappa promises his dying mother that he would stop such activities and pursue a different life. He subsequently moves to a village with the intention of leading a quiet, stable life; but on arrival, he realises that the village remains full of terror. The villagers are oppressed by a gangster Malaichami (Radharavi) and his family, though honouring his promise to his mother, Rajappa chooses to remain silent. The village's main entrepreneur, Duraisingam (Jaishankar), who has been a victim of Malaichami's cruel deeds, requests Rajappa to change his ways and deal with the gangster. Howvever, Rajappa refuses to commit himself and a helpless Duraisingam also gives up on his hope. Meanwhile, the atrocities of Malaichami grow wilder and uglier with every passing day and Rajappa is saddened by the plight of the villagers. He thinks of a way to deal with this terror without breaking his promise.
