Mu Sapanara Soudagar (Odia: ମୁଁ ସପନ ର ସୌଦାଗର) is a 2008 Indian Oriya film directed by Sanjay Nayak. This is the first film of Sabyasachi Mishra and Archita Sahu together. this film is inspired from Bollywood movies like Darr and Agnee Shakhi. The oriya film is superbly done by Sanjay Nayak as director. The biggest plus point of this movie's success is Sabyasachi Mishra as Omm, which is critically acclaimed by viewers and critics. Sabyasachi(Omm) played the title character as an anti hero. Archita(Shriya) played love interested of both Omm and Chandan, which was played by Arindam Roy.

Balia who has lost his father since early live with his mother Janaki in a slum. He has massive physical strength,but his mother always worried for Balia because of his innocence but confident on his physical strength. Janaki always wanted his son should be educated. To keep his mother satisfy, Balia join a college forcefully by threatening the college principal. There he encountered with Kandhei,daughter of an influential and powerful Pratap Choudhury. Subsequently Kandhei falls in Love with Balia because of his honesty and innocence. Their passion of love goes deep. Kandhei transformed Balia form s slim rowdy to a sociable gentle man. But when Pratap and his family know the love affair of Balia and Kandhei, they threaten Balia and put him in to jail by their influences. In the meanwhile the family of Kandhei arrange marriage of her. By knowing this. Balia escapes from jail and later finds Kandhei suicides.

This film starts with a Big Odia Wedding where Virendra(Mihir Das)’s Son Mahesh(Debashis) is all set to marry Pratap (Prithwiraj)’s daughter Chitralekha(Archita). Then after knowing about Raju’s past, Chitra falls for Raju and gets mad for him. She wants to marry Raju instead of Mahesh. What is the story of Raju and happens next is a complete suspense that you will come to know when you watch the movie.

Kali, Shankar and Tithi are the three motherless children of the acting priest of a local Krishna temple in an anonymous small town/village in West Bengal. The local MLA Debu Soren’s henchmen kill their father because he insists on standing witness in court against a murder committed at Soren’s behest. Kali, the elder brother, kills the corrupt lawyer as he walks out of the courtroom after the judge has delivered his judgement. Kali goes to jail for ten years. Shankar meets with a freak accident and is brought up by a local Muslim fakir. But the accident has left him with a memory loss and a penchant for violence. He grows up to be one of Debu Soren’s favourite henchmen. The little girl Tithi, who is picked off the streets by the maid of Debu’s mistress, grows up to become a wayward girl on the verge of turning alcoholic.

The film starts with the 1st encounter happening between Deepak(Sabyasachi) and Jyoti(Rupali).The scene has been narrated in a very genuine way.The romance that eventually blossoms between the two characters Deepak and Jyoti with the violin sessions and Deepak coming up for Jyoti s safeguard have been handled very delicately in the film.The scenes looks very romantic and yet very classy.The Introduction scene of Pupinder justifies his colourful character of "Suraj" portrayed in the film.The fast half of the Movie is almost flawless with proper pace and the movie continues almost with a single flow without much constraints but however post Interval the Movie becomes almost predictable and it seems like an Old Wine in a New Bottle.Sometimes the pace of the movie tends to get slower specially after when Deepak becomes aware of his Friend s Love interest and attempts to make his love to get sacrificed for his friend Suraj s happiness.
