Thara is a 1970 Indian Malayalam film, directed by M. Krishnan Nair and produced by M Kunchacko. The film stars Prem Nazir, Sathyan, Sharada and Jayabharathi in lead roles. The film had musical score by G. Devarajan.

In the end, she is given death penalty by the prosecution, led by her former dear friend Vatsala, who had become a famous lawyer in the meantime.
