Annamitta Kai (Tamil: அன்னமிட்ட கை) is a 1972 Tamil-language film starring M. G. Ramachandran. It was produced by Ramachandra Productions, owned by M.S.Sivaswamy. Annamitta Kai was Ramachandran's last black and white movie.
The movie originally started filming in 1966 with the 1st scene but couldn't continue due to MGR's shooting incident. The rest of the movie was taken in 1972. Because the initial scene was in Black & White producers continued the rest in Black & White.
The 2nd and last time Nagesh and Manorama acted side by side after they split up in 1970 during Navakiragam casting dispute. 1st one was in Raman Thediya Seethai the same year (1972).Synopsis
To repair the past errors of their father, the half brothers Doréraj (MGR) and Selvaraj (M. N. Nambiar) exchange identities, making Selvaraj the heir. Doréraj is going to take care of Selvaraj's blind mother, and try to get his brother back to a virtuous life.
