Synopsis
The film opens in the ruins of Kali Pahari (Black Hills, a decrepit complex of caves), and introduces the vampire Neola. Neola, a Dracula-like vampire, sleeps in a coffin by day, and transforms into a bat at night to hunt humans from the neighbouring villages. He craves a steady supply of human blood, and a supply of fresh young women (so he may seduce them and spread his evil seed). Neola is assisted by a ragtag bunch of servants who lure innocent humans (mostly women) to Kali Pahari so Neola may easily prey on them. His servants include Mahua (a witch-woman), Mahaguru (an evil priest), a tantrik (evil wizard) and various other henchmen that provide muscle for his evil deeds.Acteurs

Police Inspector Jai (Govinda) lives a middle-class life with his mother (Aruna Irani) and physically and mentally challenged brother Sunder (Govinda in double role). One day he arrests a man named Pandey, and after questioning him, finds out that the person behind this crime was a man named Guman Singh (Raza Murad). He gets on the trail of Guman Singh, arrests him, and keeps him in a cell. Then a series of explosions creat havoc in the city, with the assailants demanding the unconditional release of Guman. With the police having no clue as to the assailants whereabouts or where they are going to strike next, they release Guman. They threaten Jai with dire consequences, forcing Jai to resign from his job. Hoping that he and his family are safe, Jai starts to re-build his life, along with his sweetheart, Sharmila (Divya Bharti). Then tragedy strikes, his mother is killed in an accident, and his brother is abducted by Jagtap Singh (Kiran Kumar) and Guman, who demand that he return a bag containing their valuables.

Nageshwar alias "Don" heads a vast criminal empire. He has an only son, (Ajay Devgn), who is completely familiar with his dad and his business. Sundar and Sheetal love each other and hope to get married soon. His mother approves of this match, Sundar makes his living by playing cricket and has become a very popular cricketer and this has brought about many enemies in his life. Among them are Gautam, who conspires with Sheetal to bring about the destruction of Sundar, to which Sheetal agrees because Gautam has Sheetal's mother captive and threatens to kill her if Sheetal does not agree to all his schemes and they send goons after him and after trashing the goons he lands himself in jail and here is where he will find out that Sheetal is not what she claims to be. Frustrated at this, on Sheetal and Gautam wedding, Sundar picks up a pistol and shoots Sheetal in public and is charged for this crime. A charge that carries the death sentence. Later in the movie a journalist tries to help him and finds out everything that happened.It is revealed that the actual murderer was Gautam. Once Sundar realises that Sheetal was forced to do everything and she actually loved him, he requests the authority to let him visit Sheetal's grave one last time before he is hanged for his crime and they let him.sundar kisses the grave and a police comes with letter saying that Sundar is freed. everyone become happy and they call Sundar but he dies kissing the grave of his lover.

Bharat Prasad Sinha (Shatrughan Sinha) is the new Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in town. He has been assigned the task by Police Commissioner Ramesh Kulkarni (Om Shivpuri). The Commissioner informs him that Dharam Kohli (Utpal Dutt), who is standing as an MLA in the upcoming elections, is also involved with smuggling activities. On taking charge Bharat has to suspend Inspector Thakur for corruption charges and being in league with Kohli. Bharat is then informed by sources about Mahesh (Sudhir), one of the Kohli's (also referred to as Don) henchman. He goes to arrest Mahesh at his house where Mahesh stays with his mother and sister. There Bharat has a confrontation with Prabha (Aparna Sen), who is a family friend. Aparna stays as a lodger with a kind-hearted old gentleman, George Fernandes (David). Mahesh goes to Prabha's room at night and tries to get her to take a letter to his mother which will be collected by Kohli's men. Prabha refuses saying she won't be party to any of Mahesh's wrongdoings. The conversation is overheard by Bharat and his team, who arrest Mahesh as soon as he leaves the premises.

The film revolves around a gangster named Mustafa (Patekar) who is a contract killer and can go any limit to please his superiors and offers 5 times Namaz. He was adopted by a powerful don Shanta Prasad (Rawal) when he was a child. He calls Shanta as Abba (an Urdu term for father). Abba taught him the crime tactics and made Mustafa his weapon for his illicit crimes. Mustafa's only aide is Sudama, his childhood best friend. Abba shares enmity with the Verma brothers Mahesh, Rohan and Bipin (Pradhan, Joshi and Bahl) which the trio wants to kill Abba. Meanwhile, a dancer Kavita (Tandon) who works in Verma's dance club. Mustafa falls for her which heats up enmity of Vermas and Mustafa. Kavita meets Mustafa and he tells his life's history to which Kavita develops a soft core for Mustafa. He marries her and love blossoms. But this happiness does not last long as Kavita gets killed in a car blast (a plan hatched by Vermas to kill Abba instead). Her death made Mustafa realise his mistakes and wants to end up giving up crime. He kills Mahesh's son by planting a bomb on his forehead. He goes to Dixit's house where he is disliked by them but his heart warming nature wins the Dixit's family's heart. Abba is happy that Mustafa is recovering from his trauma and helps Vikram (Joshi) for his education and job, bails out Dayanand Dixit (Satam) by false crimes and helps Vidya to marry Arun (Behl). Meanwhile Bipin's lustful eyes falls on Vidya. During elections Mustafa involves in a brawl where he kills Mahesh and his Rohan in a bomb blast and helps the politician Imtiaz to win. Mustafa now wants to surrender himself to police and refuses to work for Imtiaz and Abba anymore. Imtiaz orders Abba to kill Mustafa in fear that in future he will confess the crimes of Imtiaz and Abba. In the wedding night, Bipin enters the house and tries to rape Vidya but Mustafa slits him brutally with a mirror piece. Police arrives and Mustafa is about to surrender but before he wants to marriage ceremony to be complete. Abba arrives and offers Mustafa to continue his work again but he refuses. Mustafa offers Namaz for thanking Allah. Helpless, Abba has no other option but to obey the orders of Imtiyaz and finally orders his men to shoot Mustafa and kills him. A hearbroken yet angered Sudama then kills Abba.
