Synopsis
Vijay Kumar (Chiranjeevi) is a college student who is daring and dashing and has a weakness for betting and challenges. Chanti (Narayana Rao) is Vijays’s friend, who study in the same college. He challenges Vijay to kill a person and escape without being caught and without proof and this person is a professor. Vijay takes it lightly and tries to play away by acting as if he killed the professor but he is really killed by the time he reaches there and he is accused of the murder. The rest of the plot forms on how he frees himself from the blame and who killed the professor and why?Acteurs

The movie opens with murder of a Doctor who tries to set up his medical practice in a village. Everyone knows that the Zamindar of that village is behind that murder. He doesn't like the villagers to get exposed to better things, as he fears they might get out of his control. Enters Dr. Santhi (Radhika), who is determined to complete her father’s incomplete dream. She meets Chiru, who will be very helpful and co-coperative to her. But, zamindar has his own cruel intentions. He plans to kills Dr. Santhi also, but Chiru saves her. Every attempt on her life is foiled by Chiru and in the end Chiru manages to help Dr.santhi to run her practice smoothly by bringing zamindar to justice.

Vijay (Vijay) is a rich young business man, whose only one aim in life is to have fun, is the managing director of a big tea estate in Ooty and his company goes on a big loss because of his mismanagement. Vijay spends most of his time in partying and flirting with girls whenever he feels like. To manage the loss to his company, Vijay invites his father Rajasekar (who is in the United States) to come to India to sign some documents. As fate would have it, Vijay's father dies in a plane crash on his way to India. His maternal uncle (Manivannan) comes up with the idea of having another elderly person to act as Vijay's father for a while until the documents are signed. So they visit a senior home, where they meet Selvam (Sivaji Ganesan) and they request him to act as Vijay's father. He agrees to it and starts to act as Vijay's father.

The story- A local thug and criminal who kills people like mosquitoes Masanam (Prakash Raj) slowly rises up the ranks to be a Minister. We have Shakthivel (Nithin Sathya) a die-hard fan of actor Vijay who studies in a city college. He falls in love with the wicked minister's sister Thulasi (Sindhu Tolani) and challenges him (he has a reason for that) and a cat and mouse game ensues. What follows is a series of incidents between the two that leads to a melodramatic climax.

Ganesh (Narain) is the slum boy who drives an auto to support his family. Bhuvana is the neglected daughter of a rich man and is in search of true love. Bhuvana (Deepa) is drawn to Ganesh's honesty and good heart. She confesses her love to him but he turns her away saying that a rich girl like her would never be able to live a life of poverty with him.
