Synopsis
Arun Kumar (Fahadh Faasil) is a young Oncologist working in Dubai. He lives off of plastic money (carrying around a wallet full of credit cards), drives swanky cars and enjoys life to the hilt without worrying about the future. The risk of such a lifestyle comes into focus when we see his car being towed by the creditors. Next we get to see that his upmarket lifestyle is like a house of cards.Acteurs

The film narrates the story of "Cuba" Mukundan (Sreenivasan) . He is a staunch leftist who lives for the movement. Machinations of a corrupt politician Karunan (Guruvayoor Sivaji) who perceives Mukundan as a threat to his political career force Mukundan to take up a job in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Even in Dubai, he finds that Kunjunny Muthalaly (Jagathy Sreekumar) who was in league with Karunan is in Dubai, exploiting the helpless labourers who migrate to the Gulf performing menial jobs and physical labor in order to support their families back home. He has always had a soft corner for People's Republic of China as a result of his leftist leanings and when he meets Zhang Chu Min (Zhang Chu Min), a Chinese girl, she quickly finds a special place in his heart as she symbolizes China to him. Later even after realising that she is an anti communist and is there to make money for the treatment of her boyfriend who fought against the Chinese Government, he gives her his earnings saying a communist never keeps money more than his requirements. Mukundan, with the help of his friends Anwar, Maya, and Karim, exposes the machinations of Karunan and Kunjunny Muthalaly. Finally Mukundan returns home to work for the political cause which has been his life and love.

Beena (Amala Paul), a program producer with NDTV 24x7, is in her ancestral village for a television program. She wants her fiancé to meet her grandmother, who has just been discharged from hospital. Beena, the daughter of K.P. Haridas, who died a few years back is not in good terms with her mother Ratnam over her second marriage. Ratnam happens to visit the house at the same time. Dr. Ravi Tharakan (Prithviraj) is a renowned cardiothoracic surgeon working in a private hospital. Ayalum Njanum Thammil begins with a traumatised girl being brought to the hospital. Ravi decides to operate the girl for free, but much against the wish of her father. The girl dies during the surgery. Her father and a few local politicians accuses Dr. Tharakan for the death and protests in the hospital. Ravi is forced to flee through the backdoor, followed by the girl's relatives. He has an accident on the way and goes missing without any traces. The girl's death gains media attention and the police starts a thorough search for Dr. Ravi. The hospital management clears their hand by sacking Dr. Ravi but the chairman's private secretary Diya (Rima Kallingal) expresses dissatisfaction over the hospital's decision and starts a search on her own. She is very much attached to Ravi who had once convinced her the importance of following the ethics in medical profession. She meets Dr. Vivek (Narain) who is a very close friend and a former classmate of Ravi.

The film follows the character of Immanuel who works in a book publishing firm. Vinay Panicker (Vijay Babu) is the head of an advertising agency based in Mumbai. He is married to Nalini (Ann Augustine) and they have a son. Vijay asks for a transfer to Kochi and moves to Kochi to take over the Kochi branch. He is impressed by the works of a creative director, Neena (Deepti Sati), an alcoholic and tomboy girl in his company.
