Ilanjodigal (Tamil: இளஞ்ஜோடிகள்) is a 1982 Indian Tamil film, directed by Rama Narayanan, starring Karthik and Radha in lead roles. The film had musical score by Sankar Ganesh and was released on 1982.
Kuberan(Karthik), who works as a tourist guide in Kodaikanal, is the sole money-earner for a large family consisting of his good-for-nothing father(Manivannan) and his two wives, their children, his sister(Anju) and her unemployed husband(Thyagu). Kavitha(Kousalya), a singer, becomes a new addition to the house when she is cheated off her money by Kuberan's father. Romance blooms between her and Kuberan, and Chandra(Manthra), who also harbors feelings for him, opts out. Kuberan and Kavitha are married and Kavitha too takes part in the sacrifices Kuberan commits for his family.
The story is about two unemployed youths Sahadevan(Mohan) and Mahadevan (S. V. Shekhar) become a detective to solve Kaveri(Madhuri)'s problem. Who is Love interest of Sahadevan. Adiyapatham(S.S.Chandran) is a politician who is going to open a party for children. Adiyapatham is too affectionate and love with Chinnamani(Kovai Sarala). Mahadevan is unemployed youth in a village and he ran away from his three daughters of his uncle after he came to Madras (Chennai) he went Sahadevan's rental house and he got a problem with house owner(S.N.Parvathy)
Sathyanathan, Punyakodi and their partners are an atrocious lot. They keep suppressing the villagers and do not even allow them to get proper education due to fear of losing control over the village.
Thangamani (S. Ve. Shekher) and Rangamani (Murali) are very close friends. Rangamani, an unemployed youth, is in love with Meena, the daughter of a rich man (Bailvaan Ranganathan). While Thangamani is the son of a leading lawyer (Venniradai Moorthy) who is also the legal advisor to Sivagangai Gopalakrishnan (S. S. Chandran) who is a very big businessman.
