Amir has always wished to travel to Abadan and now in his elderly days he wants to materialise his wish, but before doing so he needs to return a package to a friend. In this process he goes missing. Marjan, a middle-aged, middle-class Tehran resident and Amir's daughter, is distraught when her father goes missing. She goes to see her estranged husband, Aman, who reluctantly agrees to look for Amir, while Marjan watches over Aman's house, which is being renovated. Aman enlists the aid of his old friend, Atta, and the two drive off in search of Amir, who presumably took off to find an old friend whom he seems to have forgotten died years earlier.

The film begins by showing a married couple Sayeh (Mahnaz Afshar) and her husband, Yousef (Mohammad Reza Golzar) who are both stubborn and spend a lot of their time trying to top the others latest outrageous adventure at getting even. Scene after scene we watch the quarreling couple play childish pranks on each other. The movie goes on with showing that Sayeh wants to seek divorce, but by mistake knocks on the door of a psychiatrist (Attila Pesyani) instead of a lawyer. She is soon discovered in the psychiatrist’s office by her husband, Yousef. The psychiatrist informs both that their problem is that they are not behaving maturely, so that they need to live apart from each other for a week. In a week they come back to the psychiatrist, and he tells them that they are trying to act out their “inner child.” He suggests that they need to talk with their inner child. They come back and see the psychiatrist who realizes that they have overcome their difficulties and coped with their “inner child."The couple change their minds about getting a divorce.

Après des années de séjour aux États-Unis, un réalisateur de cinéma retourne au pays pour tourner son premier film. Un incident empêche l’acteur principal de se présenter au tournage, si bien qu'il s'en fait retirer. Hamid Afshari, le secrétaire au palais de justice (Parviz Parastui), est à court d’argent pour acheter un ordinateur à son fils. Désespéré, il planifie d'enlever Farzan, le fils de Monsieur Zare, un riche parti qui avait un procès au tribunal. Pour cela, il prend pour complice Asghar, un gangster déjà condamné. Hamid Afshari se précipite à l’hôpital pour s’informer de son état de santé. Roya, l’infirmière qui l'en informe (Fatemeh Motamed-Arya), semble très accueillante et serviable. La trouvant à son goût, Hamid se sent très rapidement épris d’elle.
