Written by Yandamuri Veerendranath, the film stars Chiranjeevi, Vijayashanti, Radha, and Rao Gopal Rao in important roles, the film was subsequently dubbed into Hindi as Secret Agent Raja. The soundtrack composed by Ilaiyaraaja was a chartbuster. The film is based on conspiracy theories, and was a box office hit.
Synopsis
Agent Netra (chiranjeevi), a Casanova kinda guy works for a Detective agency run by Satyanarayana. He is given a special assignment to track down the underworld activities and their drug dealings of a bigwig in the society, but has another shade as don of the Illegal drug trade. He uses his elder daughter Rekha to experiment all his drugs. Netra plans to trap his younger daughter Radha and through her tries to reach the villains.Acteurs

Prithvi, Vikram and Dattatreya (Chiranjeevi in a triple role) are the sons of Ranganath and Srividya living in a village. Ranganath goes against Sarath Saxena in an incident and is killed by him. Balu (Manoj Manchu) has only one mission in his life - to become a great playback singer like SP Balasubramanyam. He challenges a landlord in his village and comes to Hyderabad to become a singer. Ramu (Venkatesh) leads a carefree life, living along with his widowed mother in a village. He was in love with Usha (Rambha), daughter of Dharmaiah (Gollapudi Maruti Rao), village president. He often involves in petty quarrels with Bujjulu (Ali), son of Kobbarikayala Subbaiah who happens to be brother-in-law of Dharmaiah. Subbaiah was a land lord and a moneylender who often torments villagers for money and domination. He wants to marry Usha to his son to ensure power over entire village. But Ramu always comes in between and he decides to get rid of him by involving him in a thievery case. But Ramu manages to prove the truth and sends Subbaiah to jail.
