Shravana Banthu (Kannada: ಶ್ರಾವಣ ಬಂತು) is a 1984 Kannada romantic melodrama film written and directed by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao. The film featured Rajkumar, Urvashi and Srinath playing the pivotal roles. The film, produced by P. A. Kameshwara Rao, deals with reincarnation as the subject where the lead roles get killed for their romance and then they are shown to be reborn again and fall in love yet again. The film was received exceptionally well at the box-office and was one of the biggest hits of 1984. The dialogues and lyrics were written by Chi. Udaya Shankar.

A young couple Chandu and Sangeetha who planned to get married for blessing of their parents but Sangeeta behave strangley and antagonized and Chandu was attacked by ghost. Chandu learns old lady died and woman revealed the flashback that Deepa who is daughter of rich lady who fall in love with a poor guy but her mother become angry and beaten her own daughter and sent goons to attacked her lover. disgaunt Deepa went to her lover's house and her mother sent fire on house which killing the lovers causing the lady insane. Chandu realized that he and Sangeeta were recantation of ill-fated lovers now Deeps's mother possess of Sangeetha's body to kill Chandu.
