Veera Bahu is a 2011 Kannada film in the action genre starring Duniya Vijay and Nidhi Subbaiah in the lead roles. The film has been directed and written by S. Mahendar and produced by Sandesh Nagaraj under Sandesh Combines. V. Harikrishna has composed the music.

Synopsis

Vijay and Rangayana Raghu play the role of graveyard protector while Nidhi plays the role of an Iyengari girl.

Shankar Prasad (Vijay) is a tough cop who is on a mission to eradicate all the social evils around him. Shivlingu a.k.a. Shivu, an innocent villager who works as a manual laborer in stone quarry realizes that his mother is seriously ill. He gets his mother to Bangalore for treatment, but his mother dies and he is unable to arrange finances for her funeral. He manages to pay with the only ornament he had in order to carry out the funeral of his mother. With his inability to procure a tomb-stone for his mother's grave, Shivu leaves the city walking without any money, devastated.

Junglee Prabhakar Duniya Vijay wants to become an actor and takes the help of Gudde Narasimha Rangayana Raghu, a good for nothing person who however is very influential. Gudde takes him to a retired Don Guruswamy for getting him a film offer. Meanwhile, Junglee falls in love with a college girl Padma Andritha Ray and tries his best to please her. During one of the inter gang fights between rival groups, Junglee saves Guruswamy. But Padma's father is killed in the process. Junglee, with the body and swiftness of a cheetah, fights hard and saves the kid. Soon, predictably, Junglee becomes the don's right hand man, an expert in attacks and counter-attacks. But Junglee falls in love and just like any woman, Padma (Andrita Ray) his lover, asks him to abandon his profession to marry her. Now Junglee is in a dilemma. On the one hand, the don will kill him if he leaves; on the other hand is Padma, who truly loves him. The rest forms the climax.

Guru (Prajwal) and Vishwa (Tarun) are the best friends from the same village. They migrate to Bangalore city in search of a job and better living. Out of greed to make quick money, they join the anti-social gang who are threatening the common lives of Bangalore. Coincidently, Guru and Vishwa join the two rival gangs who are constantly against each other. In due course, Guru kills Vishwa's boss and this enrages Vishwa who sets vengeance against Guru's boss. Vishwa becomes the leader of the gang and kills Guru's boss eventually. This leads to a massive clash between the two groups and Vishwa's wife (Kirat) tries to match up between the old friends but to no avail. A tough cop (Duniya Vijay) gets deployed to handle the case and what happens next forms the crux of the story.
