Anne Shelton, OBE (10 November 1923 – 31 July 1994) was a popular English vocalist, who is remembered for providing inspirational songs for soldiers both on radio broadcasts, and in person, at British military bases during the Second World War. Shelton was also the original singer in the United Kingdom of the song "Lili Marlene".

Biographie
Shelton was married to David Reid, a Lieutenant Commander in the Royal Navy in 1958. She died in Herstmonceux, Sussex on 31 July 1994 of a heart attack. She is buried at Camberwell New Cemetery, Brenchley Gardens, Camberwell, London.Le plus souvent avec

This musical comedy pöaying in wartime London, stars Arthur Askey as Arthur Bowman alias Miss London, the name of the escort agency, he inherited from his mother. Soon he is joined by his new American partner Terry Arden (Evelyn Dall), as she inherited the other half of the Agency from her parents, who just arrived from abroad. T first thing she accomplishes is to clean up the office together with her partner.

Set during World War II, the plot involves the diminutive Arthur joining the army to prove himself to his girlfriend Susan (Evelyn Dall), who is in the same unit as him. Here, his idealistic notions about King Arthur prompt his messmates to trick him into believing that a sword they have dug up is the fabled Excalibur. Armed with this talisman Arthur strides forth to deal with the Wehrmacht.
