Telangana Shakuntala (9 June 1951 – 14 June 2014) Actual name Raveena was a Telugu popular actress. She was known chiefly for playing comedy and villainous characters in Tollywood. Her performances in movies like Osey Ramulamma, Nuvvu Nenu, Lakshmi, Okkadu and Veede were well received. She also acted on television and in Tamil-language films, where she is known by the name, Swarnakka. She was well known for her ability to speak in the Telangana and Rayalaseema dialects of the Telugu language and thus majority of her roles in Telugu cinema exhibited this.

In the Andhra Pradesh-Karnataka border, there are 2 villages named Pandavapuram and Kauravapuram. Dharmanna (Giri Babu) is the Head of Pandavapuram village who is considered as the latest descendant of the Pandavas while Suyodhana (Mukesh Rishi) is the Head of Kauravapuram village who too is considered as the latest descendant of the Kauravas. As expected, Dharmanna is a good Samaritan while Suyodhana is a dangerous criminal who runs a quarry business. Similar to the tale of Mahabharatha, here in this film too, Dharmanna and Suyodhana play the game of cards in which Suyodhana fails which makes him to follow the stipulation of the game - No celebration, marriage and any good events should not be conducted for 14 years. This leaves Suyodhana swearing vengeance and exactly after 14 years, by manipulation, Suyodhana wins the game and asks Dharmanna to give his daughter's hand with his youngest son's marriage. Thus to ensure his daughter Honey (Hansika Motwani)'s safety, Dharmanna sends her to Bangkok along with his friend and his friend's daughter. There she stays with Satya (Raveena Tandon)'s family and starts working with her sons Vijay (Manchu Vishnu) and Gopal (Vennela Kishore) in a successful boat business.

Rajaram (Venkatesh) is the son of Raghuram (Naga Babu), an investigative journalist in a United Nations agency. He infiltrates the criminal organization of Nana Bhai (Aditya Pancholi) and earns his trust. He gathers proof against the activities of Nana and hands them over to newspaper publisher Chaitanya Prasad alias CP (Sayaji Shinde). This is discovered by Nana Bhai and he murders Raghuram in an exceedingly brutal manner. He additionally destroys Raghuram's family. Rajaram manages to flee from the Massacre and vows to get revenge on Nana. With the assistance of Baba (Nassar), Rajaram grows up to be a strong young man. He assumes the identity of Shadow and starts looking for members of Nana's gang. Meanwhile, Prathap (Srikanth), a tricky cop in UN agency, is also searching for Nana Bhai and his gang. As expected, the methods of Rajaram and Prathap cross resulting in friction. However, Rajaram soon learns that he has a terribly sturdy association with Prathap. At last he manages to reach Nana Bhai and destroys him.

Udayshankar Verma and his pregnant wife, Parvati, give birth to a baby girl near a temple of Goddess Durga in a rural village. The Priest names the child Panchakshri. Since she was born on a day and time considered auspicious to Goddess Durga, she is treated as a divine personality by the people of her village. She grows up to be revered by the villagers, and is subsequently married to an orphan, Sriram/Rajesh Sharma. After some time the couple become parents to a baby girl and name her Reshmi. During the holy festival of Bonalu, Panchakshari is possessed by Goddess Durga, who predicts that Panchakshari is going to die suddenly. Venkata Ramana (Daggubati Venkatesh) a.k.a Venky is a ventriloquist. An astrologer (M. S. Narayana) predicts that if he does not get married in one year, he will be a single man forever. He goes to Paris to show his talent to the company of Paris Prasad (Brahmanandam). Paris Prasad fools everyone and he was given a loan from a bank. But he has not repaid the loan to the bank. Venky befriends Sheikh Raj (Ali). Venky also falls in love with Pooja (Trisha Krishnan), the niece of Paris Prasad. Pooja has no feelings for Venky, but Paris Prasad tells Venky that Pooja too loves him and fools him. Slowly Pooja and Venky become friends. Pooja goes back to India and finds that her marriage has been arranged with Bhadrappa (Subbaraju), the son of her uncle, Changala Rayudu (Mukesh Rishi). Venky asks Paris Prasad for help. Prasad comes with Venky to save Pooja by telling him that Pooja loves him and wants to break the marriage. But Pooja loves an NRI named Rahul. There Venky introduces himself to everyone as Pranit and makes fools of them by giving the partnership of his factory's benefit. One day when Venky with Prasad and Pooja runs away, Bhaddrapa's uncle (Jaya Prakash Reddy) comes to know everything. He tells everyone this. Then Venky goes to his village along with Prasad, Rahul and Pooja. He introduces his family, his uncles, Narayana (Chandra Mohan) and Malesh Yadav (Kota Srinivasa Rao). After that Bhaddrapa's grandfather hatches a plan in which Venky will come with Pooja and they will kill him. But Venky ends up coming with his full family, so they could not kill him. But after coming here, Venky comes to know that Pooja loves Rahul. When Pooja's uncle attacks them, Venky saves everybody. Pooja realizes she loves Venky. Paris Prasad also realizes his mistake and gets Venky and Pooja married. After the marriage, Prasad asks Venky to give him money with which he can repay the bank loan. But Venky laughs after hearing this.
