Synopsis
Abhiram Abhi (Sharwanand) is the son of a multi-millionaire GK. He is born and brought up in comfort and luxury; for him life is just a game and he is accustomed to a lavish lifestyle. He is portrayed to be a happy-go-lucky character and quite popular with the women. He comes across Janaki (Kamalinee Mukherjee), a young, charming doctor. Abhi tells his friends that he will make her fall in love in few days. Abhi invites Janaki for coffee after a dance programme and proposes to her.Acteurs

Abhiram (Raghu) is a rich spoilt brat who believes only in class and hates the company of poor people with low profiles. He is in deep love with Dr. Janaki, an orphan who aims to serve poor people as a doctor and give them proper medication. Though he is in love with her, Abhiram does not like the path traversed by Janaki in helping poor and needy. This breaks their relationship apart and Janaki walks away to remote place on her job. Not able to withstand the agony of separation, Abhiram sets on a journey in finding Janaki again to carry on the relationship. Meanwhile, he meets Gaali Seenu (Kitty), a petty thief who is an expert in robbing the two wheeler vehicles. He strikes a deal with Seenu and further embarks his journey in search of Janaki. En route his search, Abhiram begins to slowly realize the real world and the noble intentions Janaki had in her service. Finally, the lovers meet up and what happens next forms the rest of the story.

Un cinéaste grec exilé revient dans son pays (dans le nord de la Grèce, vers Thessalonique), à la recherche des bobines originales du premier film réalisé dans les Balkans par les frères Manákis au début du XX siècle. Cette quête va le mener au travers de différents pays des Balkans, après la chute du communisme, de la Bulgarie à la République de Macédoine naissante, pour finir son périple à Sarajevo durant la guerre de Bosnie-Herzégovine dans une Yougoslavie en cours de désintégration. Il arrive finalement sous les balles durant le siège de Sarajevo, où il découvre les précieuses bobines conservées par un vieil homme, projectionniste de cinéma, qui tente tant bien que mal de préserver le patrimoine cinématographique de son pays en pleine explosion.

Tout va de mal en pis pour Bettie, une restauratrice bretonne, veuve portant élégamment la soixantaine. Alors qu'elle entretient une liaison passionnelle avec un industriel qui lui promet depuis toujours de divorcer pour l'épouser, elle apprend qu'il vient de le faire, mais pour se marier avec une jeune femme enceinte. Tout s'effondre autour d'elle : son restaurant est en péril économique, sa banque la menace de faillite. Au lendemain de ces mauvaises nouvelles, alors que c'est le coup de feu de midi, elle quitte soudainement le restaurant sous le prétexte d'aller acheter des cigarettes en voiture, puis décide de faire une balade afin de retrouver ses esprits. Mais au lieu de revenir, elle part à l'aventure sur les routes. De tours en détours, Bettie va de la côte atlantique jusqu'aux montagnes d'Auvergne. En chemin, elle prend comme passager son petit-fils de dix ans qu'elle connaît à peine. Des rencontres la ramènent à son passé, comme en Savoie où elle retrouve l'ex « Miss Bocage normand » qu'elle a connue autrefois en concourant en tant que « Miss Bretagne » pour le titre de Miss France 1969. À l'issue de ses déambulations, Bettie retrouve l'envie de vivre, car un nouvel amour apparaît.

On September 16, superstar Gautham Krishna (Prakash Raj) gets ready for the release of his new film. On the same day, Traffic Constable Satyamoorthy (Cheran) joins back on duty, after having been suspended from service for taking bribes. The day is special for Dr. Robin (Prasanna) who is celebrating his first wedding anniversary. Karthik Vishwanathan (Sachin), an aspiring television journalist, starts his first job with an interview with Gautham Krishna the very same day. On the same day, at a crowded traffic junction in Chennai, Karthik, who was set to interview Gautham Krishna, and Ajmal (Mitun), traveling in a bike are hit by a speeding car at the signal, and Karthik is rushed to Global Hospital. Also at the junction, in another car, was the surgeon Dr. Robin. Karthik goes into coma and is declared brain dead although he is kept alive using ventilator. Meanwhile, Gautham's ailing daughter's (Gabriella Charlton)heart condition becomes worse and she urgently needs a heart transplant. At first Karthik's parents do not agree to take their son off the ventilator and donate their son's heart but Ajmal and Karthik's girlfriend (Parvathi Menon) persuade them into it. Now that the heart is available, the problem was transporting it from Chennai to Vellore. No chartered flights or helicopters were available and so the heart had to be taken by road. Someone had to drive the 150 kilometers in under two hours during the rush traffic.
