Synopsis

Somewhere in Chennai, several years previously...Young, Soundharam (MGR) was pushed away from the home by Sivaraman (M. G. Chakrapani), his father, a severe lawyer.

Raja (M.G.R), a champion jockey leads a very happy and disciplined life. Raja meets Jeeva (Saroja Devi), the only daughter of a very rich businessman, Bhupathi, and both fall head over heels in love with each other. Raja is an orphan. Years later, he learns of his mother and the injustice meted out to her in life. Raja vows to find his father and take revenge.
