Synopsis
A LTTE carder called "Kamala Velaithan" is surrendered to the Sri Lanka Army and she was handed over to captain "Wasantha" in order to bring her to colombo IBM headquarters. She has important inside information for the army which would lead to an attack on the LTTE leader. Her brother was killed by the LTTE for trying to desert it. When they started the journey the jeep was attacked by LTTE. So both of them leave there and arrives Periyumbutur by a boat. Then, due to the attack faced before, his head is injured. So she wraps his head with a cloth and says not to speak anything. Both pass LTTE & ARMY points and continue the journey. Meanwhile both fall love immensely with each other.Acteurs

The film starts in a room full of bomb making material and newspaper articles about LTTE bombings in Sri Lanka, the screen then cuts to a typical busy morning in Colombo. "The Man" (Ben Kingsley) plants five bombs around the city; on a public bus, in a shopping mall and the Polgoda police station, on an intercity train, and at the Katukurunda Airfield. The man then establishes his mini control station on top a skyscraper in Dehiwala and calls the police chief Morris Da Silva (Ben Cross) and informs him that if four prisoners are not released, the bombs will be detonated.

Une nuit, un jeune garçon, Jirō Horikoshi, rêve qu'il pilote un prototype d'avion aux ailes d'oiseau ; son rêve se termine en cauchemar lorsqu'il est attaqué par un énorme bombardier. Le soir venu, il s'allonge sur le toit de sa maison pour contempler les étoiles et regarder au loin, espérant ainsi soigner ses problèmes de vue qui risquent de l'empêcher de devenir pilote. Il rêve de Caproni, ingénieur italien ayant conçu de somptueux modèles d'avions, dont un hydravion à neuf ailes. Jirō est rejoint par sa jeune sœur Kayo, qui montre des étoiles filantes à son frère, que ce dernier ne distingue pas à cause de sa mauvaise vue.
