The film completed a 100-day run at the box-office.The most gigantic sequence of this movie are when the Amaran meets Aandar Perumal after 5 years with buch of gangsters with the BGM of Adithyan.This is are first movie in Tamil cinema was came out with maximum violent sequence and brutal scenes,some of the scenes was censored.
Synopsis
Amaran (Karthik), a orphan child, is brought up by Govindan (Vijayakumar) whom Amaran saved. Thereafter, Govindan died, his wife (Manjula Vijayakumar) brought up him and Amaran grows to become a kind-hearted slum king. Later, he has to face the heartless don Aandava Perumal (Radha Ravi) in Tamil Nadu who has a brutal past. In the meantime, Amaran and Sivagaami (Bhanupriya) fall in love with each other. Amaran comes to know that Aandava Perumal killed his family when he was a child. Before he could take revenge, he was almost beaten to death and he escapes to Goa. He was taken care by the underworld don Menon (Shammi Kapoor) and continues to work for him for a while and gets married to Sivagaami.Acteurs

The movie begins with Jeeva (Prabhu), running away from his village to Chennai fearing a possible marriage with the daughter of a local chieftain (Radharavi), arranged by his father. The movie revolves around three men Shankar, Salim and Simon who take the responsibility of reforming the society. Simon (Rajinikanth) and Salim (Jaiganesh) come from lower class, while Shankar (Vijayakumar) and his sister (Latha) are the children of (V. S. Raghavan), a corrupt businessman.
