The film was released in the short-lived Vocafilm sound-on-film process, presumably a music and effects soundtrack but no dialogue. The film is considered a lost film.
Synopsis
Babe Dugan, star player of the Angel baseball team, chews tobacco and gets his uniform dirtier than any other player. Vernie, the laundress who cleans his uniform every week, becomes concerned over his untidiness; Babe calls to apologize for unintentionally striking her with a ball during a game; and his pal, Peewee, falls in love with Vernie's friend, Georgia. On an outing to an amusement park, a roller coaster throws Vernie into Babe's arms; soon they are engaged, and Vernie plans to reform him. Scores of tobacco cubes and spittoons are pre-wedding gifts, and they precipitate a lovers' quarrel. But Babe takes the reform idea seriously, though his game slumps and he is put on the bench. At a crucial moment, Vernie relents and throws him a plug of tobacco; and consequently he delivers a four-base blow.Acteurs

Ann Harper Berry (Loretta Young), a young socialite, receives an inheritance of one million dollars from her deceased grandmother. The will stipulates, however, that she will only receive the money after she has been married to someone who meets with the approval of her two prudish aunts Sarah (Louise Fazenda) and Katherine (Ethel Wales) Harper. The will also stipulates that everyone will lose their inheritance if a scandal involving Young occurs before she is married. Lun Man-chui (Dicky Cheung) and Lau Sin-hoi (Aaron Kwok) are students at Ming College who always disputed with each other. Lun is a poor but smart scholar who liked to do petty tricks on others. Lau is a straight forward and smart man who is martial artist since he was a kid. They both fall for their beautiful classmate Ching-ching (Vivian Chow), who is Headmaster Heung's (Ng Man-tat) niece. Later, a competition arises between Ming College and its rival, Oriental College. To win in the competition, Headmaster Heung hires martial arts expert Lee Tai-chun (Bryan Leung) to teach the students. Lee is being pursuited by Imperial Secret Agents and took the job to cover up his real identity. On the day of the competition, Lee was found by the Imperial Secret Agents, however, with the help of Lun and Lau, Lee manages to escape and they make their way back to the competition and triumphed. From then on, Lun and Lau become best friends.

Pi Shao Ting (also 四毛) is the son of a director. He is a student in Hong Kong High School. He falls in love with principal's granddaughter Anne, which makes her boyfriend Tie Ying angry. There Pi Shaoting meets Shaolin kid, and is trained to learn Martial arts in the Shaolin Temple. Having returned to Hong Kong, one day he goes to the principal's office. He happens to hear a dialogue about conspiracy between the father and his son. Afterwards, the principal sees through their trick and withdraws his duties. However, dismissed as principal, he plans to kidnap Anne to force the principal to give uu his power. With the help of Shaolin kid and Pi Shao Ting, Anne and his grandfather get out of danger. Pi Shao Ting, for a long time, thinks that he loves Anne. At last, he realizes that the girl he really loves is Zhen Zhu (珍珠）, the girl who is always accompanying him.

Ramli, Ajis and Sudin are a trio of bujang lapok (worn-out bachelors) waiting at a jetty for a boat to arrive and lead them across the river. The boat company is owned by a rich man named Ahmad Nisfu, who employs thugs to run the business and keep the passengers "in line". The thugs only allow certain people to take the boats early, while others have to wait a long time. An old man called Pendekar (meaning "master" or "warrior") Mustar wants to cross the river, but he is ill-treated by the thugs. When he continues to insist to be allowed to cross the river, he is dragged away to be beaten up, but he defeats all the thugs thereby scaring the rest into letting him ride the boat he wants. After bearing witness to the damage done by the pendekar, the trio decide to follow him and become his students. They proceed to create chaos at the jetty so that the thugs may get distracted and they then use the boats to sail their way to Kampung Pinang Sebatang.

En Chine, au début du XX siècle, la Secte du lotus blanc complote pour porter le sinistre empereur mandchou Yuan Shikai (Ho Ka-kui ) sur le trône d'empereur de Chine. Cependant, il doit pour cela recevoir l'anneau de jade possédé par sa fiancée, la princesse Sum-yuk (Michelle Reis). La Secte envoie donc Yeung Kwan (Andy Lau) récupérer celle-ci. Mais Yeung est en fait un chef rebelle travaillant pour Sun Yat-sen. Il enlève Sum-yuk et trouve refuge dans le dispensaire Po Chi Lam dirigé par Wong Kei-ying (Adam Cheng) et son fils à la santé fragile, Wong Fei-hung (Willie Chi). Par la suite, ce-dernier rejoint la cause de Yeung et Sum-yuk. En cours de route, il apprendra la technique secrète de la boxe de l'homme ivre auprès du vieux maître Oncle Yan (Liu Chia-liang).

The young Chor Lau-heung learns martial arts from Tuk-ku Kau-pai and has attained a high level of skill.
