This was the first film of writer and director Bryan O'Neil and premiered at the Prince Charles Cinema on March 6, 2012, before going on a limited release across the United Kingdom.
The film was mostly shot over 19 days in March 2010, with two days of reshoots in August that year. The total estimated budget was £600,000.

Synopsis
Booked Out follows the quirky exploits of the Polaroid loving artist Ailidh (Mirren Burke) as she spies and photographs the occupants of her block of flats. Jacob (Rollo Weeks), the boy next door who comes and goes quicker than Ailidh can take pictures. Jacqueline (Claire Garvey), the mysterious girl that Jacob is visiting and the slightly crazy Mrs Nicholls (Sylvia Syms) who Ailidh helps cope with her husbands continuing existence after his death.Acteurs

Mark Conrad fut autrefois un flamboyant aventurier. Aujourd'hui, sombré dans l'alcoolisme, il passe son temps à déclencher des bagarres sur le port de Hong Kong et à se faire arrêter par les autorités locales. Il se retrouve alors à bord du ferry commandé par le capitaine Hart. Immédiatement, une mésentente se crée entre les deux hommes. Ses visas étant réfutés, il ne peut plus débarquer ni à Hong Kong ni à Macao et se retrouve donc coincé sur le ferry. Réputé pour son don d'humilier ses semblables, Hart en fait profiter Conrad qui lui retrouve goût à la vie auprès de la jolie Liz. Un typhon puis une attaque de pirates démontrent cependant l'inefficacité de Hart et le courage de Conrad, ce dernier retrouvant dès lors sa dignité.

After the Battle of Worcester at the end of the Second English Civil War, the main aim of General Oliver Cromwell (John Le Mesurier) is to capture Charles Stuart (Gary Raymond), son of the executed Charles I. However, the dashing Royalist hero nicknamed "the Moonraker" (George Baker) prepares to smuggle him to safety in France, under the noses of Cromwell's soldiers. According to the story, the hero is called "the Moonraker" after the smuggler term, Moonrakers, sometimes claimed to hide contraband in the village pond and to rake it out by moonlight.
