Montero is a bandit who, along with his deaf-mute sidekick, Coloso, are planning to rob a bank. They are pursued by "Bob Cat" Manners and his posse. As they close in on the bank, owned by Perkins, Montero becomes involved in the personal affairs of Helen Wardell and her fiancé, Howard. Perkins is also interested in Wardell, and he also holds the mortgage on Howard's ranch. Finding out that Montero has a price on his head, Perkins uses that fact to coerce Montero into agreeing to kill Howard. Perkins, however, has no intention of paying Montero, instead arranging for the posse to capture the outlaw.

Tim Benton (Tim McCoy) is falsely accused of killing his own father and escapes from prison along with brutish Red Larkin (Matthew Betz). The fugitives head for the former Benton mine now operated by the villainous John Sebastian (Ethan Laidlaw), where Tim plans to rob the payroll. En route, they are discovered by Bob Dinsmore (Anders Van Haden), the new marshal of Silver City, who is killed by Red.

Cal Reynolds, un hors-la-loi, arrive à échapper au shérif et à son posse. Il retrouve dans un saloon Butch, le chef de la bande, en train de faire des avances à Jennie Lee, une jeune institutrice fiancée au shérif Bentley. Il blesse Bentley mais, réalisant que Jennie est amoureuse de lui, il lui sauve la vie. Butch est tué lors d'un duel avec Cal et Jennie, finalement, décide que c'est Cal qu'elle aime.

Billy the Kid (Bob Steele) and his friends Jeff (Carleton Young) and Fuzzy (Al St. John) are on the run. They make it to Paradise Town, where the trio witnesses the murder of Marshal Mason (Stanley Price). Fuzzy poses as the marshal and rides into the town, which is now ruled by a gang led by Burke (Curley Dresden) under orders from a prominent businessman in Paradise. Setting out to put an end to the gang's lawless rule over the town, the trio face another problem --the ward of the town banker Hardy (Edward Peil, Sr.), Ann (Phyllis Adair), who is out to set obstacles for them for unknown reasons. Along the journey they befriend Mexican secret agent Lopez (Julian Rivero), who is posing as a bartender. As the plot thickens, it is revealed that the true mastermind is Hardy, who plans on buying up all the local property to dig a smuggling tunnel to Mexico.
