Chittemma Mogudu is a 1992 Tollywood film directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy. It stars Mohan Babu, Divya Bharti and Pooja Bedi. The film was a remake of Tamil film Thalattu Ketkuthamma.

Synopsis

The young village girl Chitti (Divya Bharti) is a bubbly and fun-loving childwoman. She's enjoying life with her young group of friends consisting of three younger boys. One day, while playing one of her pranks, an old man curses her. On top of that, she witnesses a pregnant woman falling at night and suffering immense pain before ultimately dying. This incident causes Chitti's fear of pregnancy. However, the young man Mohan Babu visits the village and befriends Chitti. Soon after that, her parents arrange the marriage between Chitti and Mohan Babu. Both are more than happy with this arrangement. After the wedding, however, Chitti doesn't want to consummate the marriage out of fear of pregnancy. Mohan Babu is unhappy about it and soon gets attracted to a young doctor (Pooja Bedi). Dreaming of spending nights with her, Mohan Babu gets drunk and soon after goes home and rapes Chittui. The next morning, upon getting sober, Mohan Babu tries to comfort the outraged Chitti while the latter tries to leave for her home village to go back to her parents. Mohan Babu tries to win her back but fails time after time. Soon Chitti has to realise that she got pregnant that night while her doctor turns out to be the woman her husband got crazy for.

Raja (Chiranjeevi) goes to town for higher studies with the donation of people living in a tribal village. He returns to his village after the studies. He then finds the sufferings of his people and how they are cheated by local heads (Rao Gopal Rao and Mohanbabu). He then fills confidence in his men and tells them that they should face these illegal in the court of law. But this duo makes the villagers fools and Raja's attempts goes in vain. Few villagers get hurt by this act suicide as they have no other option and the blame is on Raja as he has forced them. Sametime Raja is selected for IAS but he rejects it and decides to fight against the villains and changes to a Robinhood avatar and names himself as Kondaveti Donga. He punishes the illegal and stands by the villagers thus all his folk starts admiring him. Trouble starts when the villains start doing mischief in the name of him. Vijayasanthi is an inspector comes to his place to catch hold of him. Radha her sister, working as a doctor knows his true identity and starts loving him. How this kondaveti donga punished the fraud people or is he caught by the police or what happens to him forms the rest of the story. There is also a dance routine with a Michael Jackson impersonator singing "Girly Man".

Chiranjeevi(Kalyan) is a ruthless rowdy and do gooder. Vijayashanti (Rekha) is the loving daughter of arrogant businesswoman Vanisri (Chamundeswari). Goa's beach is being exploited by a big-wig in the society, named D.D. He runs a big Aashram on Goa's beach, and under this Aashram's mask, he runs his underworld. His underworld is the channel for drug-trafficking, which cashes upon the weakness of the youth. To investigate about this Aashram's dark secrets, Indian government appoints a CBI officer (Nagendra Babu), who prepares a complete report on its activities, but is killed by D.D's men. When CBI officer never returns, CBI gets suspicious and sends another officer, who is Abhimanyu (Chiranjeevi). Abhimanyu lands in Goa and meets D.I.G (Kaikala Satyanarayana) to inform him about his mission. But Goa police and CBI doesn't share good terms and D.I.G appoints 2 Sub Inspectors(NuthanPrasad and Prasad babu) to follow and observe Abhimanyu. Meanwhile, Bhanupriya's brother becomes a drug addict, and to cure him she gets him admitted into a hospital.Hospital chief Ranganath meets Abhimanyu in a strange incident. When bhanu's brother tries to jump off the top floor of hospital, Abhimanyu saves him and thus meets bhanu. Being cluless about missing naga babu, Abhimanyu manages to enter into the aashram and exposes the secret activities carried out there. He witnesses drugs being exported in dead bodies. When Abhimanyu informs about these to D.I.G, he doesn't believe him, but on pressure he raides the aashram, but finds nothing, much to the shock of Abhimanyu. DD becomes more self-conscious and Goa police stop co-operating with Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu is attacked in many ways, and Goa police gets rid of him by sending him off in a ship. But Abhimanyu escapes and returns to goa, this time more determined to complete his mission. Abhimanyu realizes that ranganath is DD's right hand, and he sets a trap in which ranganath is killed by DD himself. He also succeeds in donating DD's money to homeless people's fund. D.D gets furious, and kidnaps chiru's mother(Annapurna). Abhimanyu informs this to Goa police, but they don't believe him. So, Abhimanyu himself as one-man army attacks the aashram, destroys it, rescues his mother and marries Bhanupriya.

Madhu (Chiranjeevi) is a painter who becomes a drunkard since his wife is killed immediately after their marriage in an accident. He leads a careless life until a kid (Baby Sujitha) who is deaf and vocally challenged (dumb), enters his life. He names him Raja and takes care of him however, he doesn't stop drinking. Raja's parents are murdered by Venu (Raghuvaran) and his assistant and Raja is the witness to murder who is tried to be getting rid of by them. Geeta (Vijayashanti) meets the kid in a shopping place and mistakes him to be Madhu's son and fights with them when the kid accidentally breaks her just bought gift and later realises her mistake and comes to apologise to Madhu's house. She befriends the kid and gradually falls for Madhu. Later she comes to know that the kid is none other than her sister's (Rajyalakshmi) son and she was murdered. Madhu is accused of murder and kidnap, and is arrested by Inspector (Prabhakar). But they realise that he is not the actual killer and is released. However Venu and his assistant keep trying to kill the kid and they are almost successful when Madhu is out drunk one night but saves him in the last minute. This changes him and he gives up drinking. The rest of the story is how the villains are slain and Madhu and Geetha marry and adopt the kid.
