The film had its premiere on December 25, 2010, with official debut on December 31, 2010. Its sequel, De Pernas pro Ar 2, debuted in Brazilian theaters on 28 December 2012.
Synopsis
Alice is a successful executive in her 30s, married to João, with whom she has a son. She is a workaholic who tries to balance between work and family routine, but loses her job and husband on the same day. That's when she starts to count with the help of her neighbor Marcela, who tries to show that it's possible to be successful at business without leaving the pleasures of life aside. Alice becomes investor along with her new friend in a bankrupt sex shop, while Marcela helps her to discover the pleasures of sex toys.Acteurs

Raja Rao Bahadur (Kanta Rao) is the head of a wealthy and charitable landlord family who has a young son Sreedhar. At his son's request, Rao helps his college friend (Hari) with the costs of higher education abroad. Hari is grateful and invites Sreedhar to his sister Laxmi's (Sangeeta) wedding in the village. Mateo Melgarejo (played by Mario Moreno "Cantinflas") is a notary public and scribe for the illiterate people of Santo Domingo, a neighborhood north of Mexico City's Zócalo. A squatter friend asks for his help in negotiating with the land census bureau to regularize a land title. After a great deal of frustration with the government bureaucracy, he writes a letter to the cabinet minister, earning an audience with him. The minister hires Melgarejo to reform the bureau, and the appointee proceeds to lecture the officials on their duties in a democratic society. At the end, he gives up the post, returning to Santo Domingo to help its poor residents.
