Her Face Value is a 1921 American drama silent film directed by Thomas N. Heffron and written by Earl Derr Biggers and Percy Heath. The film stars Wanda Hawley, Lincoln Plumer, Richard Rosson, T. Roy Barnes, Winifred Bryson, Donald MacDonald and Harvey Clark. The film was released on October 13, 1921, by Paramount Pictures.

Martha Sellers, une jeune et jolie femme, arrive dans une petite ville près d'Ossining (État de New York). Elle y loue une maison et engage Jim Ransom, l'alcoolique du coin, comme homme à tout faire. Sa personnalité mystérieuse est la source de rumeurs de la part des commères locales, attisées notamment par Percival Peevy. Lorsqu'on apprend qu'elle reçoit du courrier de la prison de Sing Sing, elles demandent qu'elle soit rejetée de la ville. Martha a traité Jim avec une telle gentillesse qu'il se reprend et il finit par confesser qu'il est coupable du crime pour lequel le mari de Martha est incarcéré. Il se rend à la police et Martha retrouve son mari, qu'elle avait toujours cru innocent.

Based upon a description in a film publication, Myles Calthrope (Warwick) is an English soldier of fortune who drifts into the diamond mining fields of South Africa and finds employment with some diamond smugglers who masquerade as feather merchants. When he comes to suspect their true business, Myles is dismissed. He then goes to Cape Town where he falls in love with Joan Farrant (Wilson). She helps him to get a job with her brother, who is also secretly a smuggler. The police arrest Myles in an illicit enterprise of which he has no knowledge, and he goes to prison for three years. Eventually the real criminals are arrested, and Myles finds happiness with Joan.

Based upon a description in a film publication, Katherine Van Riper (Clayton) is an extravagant young society girl who is very much in debt, and her wealthy aunts and uncle refuse to give her any money. Katherine is desperate enough that she is considering marrying the wealthy Montee Buck (Hiers), although she is in love with the westerner Tom Jaffrey (Fillmore), who says he is poor. Finally, Katherine decides to sell the famous Van Riper pearls, pay off her debts, and marry Tom. However, upon examination the jewelry turns out to be paste, with her father having sold the genuine pearls several years earlier before his death. Montee is assured by the aunts that Katherine will marry him and tells this to Tom. Tom is about to leave town when Uncle James (Ricketts) steps in and pays off Katherine's debts, leaving the niece free to marry Tom.
