Kanni Thaai is a Tamil language action road movie film directed by M. A. Thirumugam, starring M. G. Ramachandran in the lead role. The film was produced by "Sandow" M.M.A.Chinnappa Devar under his Devar Films banner, released in September 10, 1965.

Synopsis

On the Tamil roads of the 60s... In a military camp, captain Saravanan (MGR) promises to his brother-in-arms, captain Moorthy, dying person (seriously wounded following an exchange enlivened against poachers on the Indian border) to take care of his girl Râni (Baby Shakila), adorable one girl, very intelligent, of 6 years.
