Lakshmi Saraswathi (Kannada: ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ) is a 1970 Indian Kannada film, directed by K. S. L. Swamy (Ravi) and produced by B H Jayanna. The film stars B. Sarojadevi, Ramesh, Sudarshan and R. Nagendra Rao in lead roles. The film had musical score by Vijaya Bhaskar.

Bhrigu wanted to clarify his doubt with Lord Shiva. Upon reaching Kailasa, Shiva would be teaching lessons on dance to Goddess Parvati and since they were in the process, he would be ignored by Parvati and Shiva. Patience less Bhrigu curses Parvati to take birth three times on Earth and suffer with human related misfortune. Parvati also curses Bhrigu to take birth as a demon who suffers man kind. Parvati upon prying to Shiva, He favors Parvati, that She would take birth only one time but as triplets and He will take birth to protect her and convert Her human related misfortune as a boon with His accompany.

Once there, she meets with Ajit Rai (Ajit), and the couple fall in love. Circumstances compel her to re-locate to Nagpur and seek employment with another dance/drama company run by Chunilal. Ajit decides to follow her to Nagpur, and visits her mom and sister. It is from here he locates the dance/drama company and does meet Saroj - only to find out that she has changed her name to Mary D'Souza. Ajit will eventually discover that Saroj had witnessed the murder of Chunilal and the killer(s) are now out to silence her - and whoever else dares to come in their way.
