Synopsis
Rasappa (Sathyaraj) and Vellaiappa (Vadivelu) were mechanics and good friends. They grew older so they were determined to get marry as soon as possible. Vellaiappa was in love with Sona (Kalpana). Geetha (Roja) left her home after her mother-in-law's pressures. Geetha was accidentally kidnapped by Rasappa who thought that she was Sona and Rasappa fell in love subsequently with Geetha. Vellaiappa got married his lover Sona while Rasappa got married Geetha.Acteurs

Kandaswamy (Vijayakumar) has three daughters and a son : Meena (Roja), Jamuna (Kalpana), Rani (Kovai Sarala) and Muthupandi (Thalaivasal Vijay). Meena and Sitha, who fall in love with two guys who apparently are college professors. The girls' brother Krishnamurthy, an MLA, abandons the plan to get them married to a minister's sons, and reluctantly accedes to their wish. The girls are married off to their respective lovers, only to learn that the duo are not college professors, but two unemployed youth in search of jobs. Thrown out of the house by the furious family, the men open a fast-food eatery (what else?) to prove a point to their unforgiving wives. How the matter is resolved forms the rest of the story.

Pugazh (Vijay) is an IITian and Oxford alumnus with a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering. With the help of his friend, Inspector Joseph (Manoj K. Jayan), he succeeds in tracking down a wanted criminal Raaka (Adithya), and kills him. The scene then shifts to a village, where Pugazh is attending the wedding of a Tahsildar's daughter. The story is set in the middle class home of Madhavan (Prabhu), a budding lawyer, who works for Visu.
