Maa is a 1992 Indian Bollywood film directed by Ajay Kashyap and produced by Anil Sharma. It stars Jeetendra and Jaya Pradha in pivotal roles.

Synopsis

Ram Khanna is a wealthy industrialist with a trusting soul. Unknown to him, his elder brother Murli Manohar and his sister-in-law Maya are after his money. Their greed gets better of them and they make an astrologer lie to him that a woman whose name starts with letter "M" will enter his life. As luck would have it, Ram spots a dancer named Mamta and is instantly smitten by her. What Ram doesn't know that Mamta is the daughter of Heerabai, a prostitute.

Advocate Anand Mathur (Shekhar Suman) draws up a will for his client, while reading the novel "Godfather", and erroneously makes out the will with a provision that the beneficiary must be a criminal Don in order to inherit the billions of rupees. The beneficiary is a bachelor named Rahul Bhargav (Sunil Shetty), who wants no part of being a Don, criminal or anything of the sort. Following the events in Nagina, Nigahen is the story of Neelam, the daughter of Rajiv and Rajni. The only person who knows its whereabouts is Neelam, who unbeknown to her, was hypnotized by her late mother's Guardian Snakes into going to the old temple from the original story, and locating the gem (an event witnessed by Gorakh Nath).
