It was created by Martin Sebastian, produced by Benzy Martin, distributed by Emil & Eric Digital Film Edited by Don Max and Sangeeth Kollam and directed by V. K. Prakash. The movie, which falls into the genre of suspense thrillers, was shot primarily at Peerumedu in Idukki, Kerala. The movie stars Jayaram and Jyothirmayi in the lead roles.
The digital technology was provided in Kerala by Emil & Eric Digital Private Limited, a Thrissur-based company engaged in the production and distribution of digital movies. Nearly eighty theatres in urban, semi-urban and rural areas across the Indian state of Kerala were equipped with digital transponders to receive the film via satellite.
The movie is noted for being the first high-definition (HD) cinema to be digitally distributed to theatres via satellite. It was also the first Malayalam film to be shot entirely using HD cameras. The new technology was developed by Mumbai-based DG2L Technologies. The company was the first to introduce an MPEG-4-based digital cinema distribution and presentation system. DG2L has delivered more than 800 of its cinema systems to UFO Moviez, and approximately 700 of them are now installed in theaters throughout India.
The movie was released on 18 August 2006.
Synopsis
Two young girls, Anupama (Samvrutha Sunil) and Rahael (Sherin), rent an old palace and are disturbed by the presence of a strange lady who moves around their place. They are adamant on finding out the truth about her. The palace's manager (Mala Aravindan), also a witchcraft practitioner, is keen to help them. As the girls find it difficult to move forward in their enquiry, the second story begins.Acteurs

Shankar, Ram and Bhaskar are three brothers from a royal palace who always fight with each other from childhood. None of them allows the others to prosper and creates trouble for each other in whatever they do. Their parents have taken money from a money lender called Dinakaran who has given the money on lease of the place. When the debts increased, the three realized that they cannot repay the money and get back the palace and so they try to steal the papers from Dinakaran's house with the help of his daughters who were having affairs with the three kings. But Dinakaran catches them and hands them over to the police.

Trivandrum Lodge, situated in Kochi and its inmates form the backdrop of the film. Abdu (Jayasurya) is a man who does odd jobs for living including being masseur at a spa and being the driver of a wealthy businessman. He is also obsessed about sex, being sex-starved. Shibu Vellayani (Saiju Kurup) is a cinema reporter who works with a not-so-well-known film magazine, and persuades women to sleep with him for roles in films. Kora (P. Balachandran) is a retired clerk from the secretariat who boasts about having had sex with 999 women in his life and who wishes to have a policewoman as his 1000th. Satheeshan (Arun), wants to be an actor. Shibu promises to help him and has even given Satheeshan a new name, Sagar. Arthur Relton (Janardhanan) and Peggy Aunty (Sukumari) are the oldest inmates. Relton teaches piano and lives in the world of music while Peggy Aunty runs a canteen inside the lodge.

Arvind Chandrasekhar (Mammootty), a very successful lawyer with a track record any one would dream about, is appointed judge in the Karnataka High Court. Happily living in Bangalore with his wife Sangeetha (Pallavi Purohit) and their adorable children Arya and Aditya, the man has little to fret over. Before taking the oath, he visits his parents in Kerala. There he is harassed by threatening phone call from a veiled assailant who says he is not fit to be a judge. The crux of the film is when she returns to her home when a person close to her is murdered. Her mission thereafter is to hunt down the killer and so, she probes into the issue.
