Osai is a 1984 Indian Tamil film, directed by K. Vijayan. The film stars Mohan, Nalini, Thengai Srinivasan and Nizhalgal Ravi in lead roles. The film had musical score by Shankar Ganesh. The film was a remake of Hindi film Shor.

Devi (Nalini), a college student has a strange premonition one night of her sister being murdered. Her sister soon goes missing. After a few years, Devi meets and marries a rich businessman Ramkumar (Mohan). Soon after, Devi has another vision of an unknown woman being murdered and seeks the help of her brother-in-law Dr.Raj (Vijayakanth) to help her save the possible victim. Raj is reluctant to believe her story but assists her anyway. Devi also finds a decomposed body in the bungalow where she lives with Ramkumar, which she believes is her sister's based on her previous vision. Devi and Raj's investigations lead them to the museum where Devi's sister worked and a strange man (Sathyaraj) who tries to assassinate them. Whether Devi's strange premonitions are true and whether she and Raj are able to trap the mysterious killer forms the rest of the story.

Arun (Mohan), a prominent singer is in jail with a death sentence looming over his head. He meets Shanthi (Revathi) during one of his concerts, and is followed by her on many occasions into the jail and outside too. He shows nothing but animosity towards her behavior, and keeps pushing her out of sight. But Shanthi is persistent and does not give up either. An inmate named Maari attempts to escape from jail, but he is stopped by Arun. Maari later tells Arun about his sick daughter (Shekhina Shawn), and his inability to pay for her operation. Arun sympathises with him, and promises to raise funds for the sick child through his next concert, which he also plans shall be his final one.

Pandian and Arun are police officers. Pallavi is a drug addict who cannot stop her habit even though her brother Arun pleads. One day Arun locks her up, but she dies from withdrawal. The climax reveals whether Pandian nab the drug lord and complete the revenge of his friend Arun.
