While written by Anees Bazmee, it starred Sanjay Dutt, Manisha Koirala, Vivek Mushran, Anupam Kher, Dalip Tahil, Kader Khan, Anjan Srivastav, Gulshan Grover and Shakti Kapoor. The music, composed by Anand-Milind, was the biggest strengths of this film.
Synopsis
Gaurav (Vivek Mushran) lives a wealthy lifestyle, gets everything he wants except the love of his parents and family. Even though he lives with his parents, they love his elder brother Narendra (Sanjay Dutt) more. Narendra is often pronounced by the name of "Hero" by his parents, and goes abroad for his job once a while. When Hero comes back home for a holiday, he goes to a funfair with his family, and witnesses a little girl who is stuck on top of a Ferris wheel, and when Hero gets the chance, he climbs up and rescues her. By the time he jumps off, it is already on fire, which causes it to explode, and blows Hero off with it as well. The whole family is devastated by Hero's death, and since he was the only one who made a name for his family, Gaurav finally feals pity and joins the army to prove to his father that he is worthy to be the Hero's younger brother. While on duty, Gaurav explores that Angara and General (Shakti Kapoor, Gulshan Grover) are about to plant a bomb through the whole of India, and that would just not mean for his parents and friends to die, but also his loving girlfriend, Sanam (Manisha Koirala).Acteurs

The story follows rich businessman Shravan Dhariwal (Sanjay Dutt). Shravan has everything one can dream of having and what he doesn’t have, he buys it. One day, he meets Varsha (Manisha Koirala) and believes her to be his true love. He proposes to her, and she eventually agrees. The couple get engaged, and go on a small holiday. However, Varsha’s beautiful dream comes to a shocking end when Shravan tells her that his love for her was just a drama to get engaged so he could sleep with her. Heart broken and shattered, Varsha’s whole world collapses around her. She leaves the country and goes as far away as possible from Shravan Dhariwal to start a new life. Shravan goes back home, and says things didn't go well with Varsha.

Karan Khanna (Abhishek Bachchan) est capitaine dans les forces de l’armée de l’air. Il est fou amoureux de la belle top modèle Nisha, avec laquelle il prévoit de se marier à sa prochaine permission. Karan accepte et il est immédiatement adopté par la famille Grewal. Mais, toujours amoureux de Nisha, il abandonne Sahiba qui doit se résoudre à avouer la vérité et épouser l'homme choisi par son père. Or celui-ci n'est autre que le meurtrier qui a cherché à la faire tuer.

Vijay Chopra (Anil Kapoor), qui a été élevé aux États-Unis, revient en Inde pour succéder à son père, Vishwanath Chopra (Anupam Kher), dans l'entreprise familiale. Vishwanath espère apporter un peu de stabilité dans la vie de son fils par le mariage mais ce dernier n'y prête aucune attention. Vishwanath, qui a beaucoup d'estime pour sa secrétaire Megha (Kajol), incite Vijay à la rencontrer. Les deux hommes trouvent enfin un compromis ; Vijay consent à épouser Megha, mais avec un contrat de mariage à l'essai : cette union ne sera valable qu'un an et ne sera prolongée que si les deux partenaires se sentent réellement complices. Dans le cas contraire, Megha devra s'en retourner définitivement chez sa famille... Bien que furieux de la décision de son fils, Vishwanath accepte un tel mariage pensant que Megha est la femme idéale qui saura faire changer d'opinion Vijay sur le mariage. Megha refuse dans un premier temps l'offre, mais issue d'une famille modeste composée de deux sœurs, Manju (Sudha Chandran) et Maya (Gracy Singh), ainsi que d'un frère, Sudhakar (Raju Shrestha), elle se résout à épouser Vijay pour des raisons financières.

The story is about an orphan named Raju (Salman Khan) a business man in India. His mother died when he was very young, his father had already left him. At work, Raju witnesses Rajesh Mittal (Rishi Kapoor) winning an award on TV. Raju realises that Rajesh is none other than his dad, and leaves immediately for London. At the airport, he meets Sonia Singh (Amisha Patel) who has too much luggage and tries to get Raju to hold it. Raju understands her plan, and it backfires on Sonia. Rinkie is about to get married to Vicky (Sharad Kapoor) but she is unaware of his drug dealings. Raju gives Rajesh eight days to break the news to his family and call Raju his son or he’ll tell the family himself. After he leaves, Rajesh gets afraid, and hires gangsters to attack him. On his way out, Raju gets beat up by the hired gangsters, though later rescued by Shera (Sanjay Dutt), also an Indian living in London. He saves Raju from getting beat up, and helps him as well.

Roshni (Sridevi) is the only child of Sharda Chhadha (Reema Lagoo). Her father, Prakash Chhadha (Anupam Kher), left before she was born and she has no knowledge of where he went. Roshni is introduced to Rahul Malhotra (Rahul Roy) and they share a mutual attraction. When he learns that she is an aspiring singer, he assists in her career so she becomes popular. She has a devoted fan named Jaggannath alias Jaggu (Sanjay Dutt), who is a petty thief. He is in love with her but she rejects him. During a trip she and Rahul had taken to Hong Kong, she is arrested for trafficking cocaine and Rahul disappears. Jaggu brings an attorney, but she is quickly found guilty and sentenced to death. Jaggu visits the prison and runs afoul of two guards, themselves lovers, who beat him in front of Roshni. The attorney works to help them escape. A fight ensues between Roshni and the female guard in which the latter is killed. The warden intervenes and is killed by Jaggu. They escape and return to India. At the airport Prakash is questioned by the police and Roshni learns that he is her father, and that he had fled the country years earlier when he has been wrongfully accused of treason. Later at Rahul's house, Rahul admits that he had been dealing with drugs that resulted in Roshni's arrest. She slaps him for deceiving her and ends their relationship. With Prakash's blessings, Roshni and Jaggu get married.

Anju and Manju are twins separated when babies thanks to their mentally handicapped nanny. An evil uncle Tribhuvan gets their parents killed in a car accident.
