Sangili is a 1982 Indian Tamil film, directed by C. V. Rajendran and produced by S. D. Gunasekaran. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Prabhu, Sripriya, and M. N. Nambiar in lead roles. The film had musical score by M S Viswanathan. The film was a remake of Hindi film Kalicharan.

Hence he does not ask for favours from anyone, except in the aspiration of being appointed as a Judge/ Justice of supreme court, where he expects the Bar Council of the court to favour him. Kannan is his nephew who is brought up like a son by the childless Rajinikanth and his wife. Kannan was also played by Shivaji Ganeshan in a double role. Kannan is an antithesis of Rajinikanth, he is a god fearing, amiable, domesticated young man.
Rajasekaran (Sivaji Ganesan) is an upright businessman whose associates are involved in shady deals. During an argument over such a deal, a scuffle ensues and Rajasekharan accidentally shoots one of his associates dead. Fleeing from the police, he loses contact with his pregnant wife Sumathi (K. R. Vijaya).
