Second Marriage Dot Com is a 2012 Hindi-language film directed by Gaurav Panjwani, art direction by Priyanka Agarwal, featuring Mohit Chauhan, Vishal Nayak, Charu Rahtogi and Sayani Gupta in the lead roles. The film is produced by Vinod Mehta under the banner of Vin Mehta Films Pvt Ltd. and was released on August 10, 2012.

Synopsis

The film kicks off when Akshay, young IT professional from Delhi; only child of a single parent Suneel Narang embarks on a journey to get his father, a widower; married so to finally put an end to his prolonged loneliness. Coincidentally in Jaipur, a vibrant young girl Poonam is on the same hunt to find a partner for her mother, Shoma; whom she's seen as a divorcee since childhood. They get in touch with each other through a matrimonial website named 'secondmarriage.com' and after initial denial of the idea by their parents they finally sail through and get they married.

The film opens with Munna Bhai (Sanjay Dutt), a dreaded Mumbai-streeted goon, on the chase to Pillai (Ashish Vidyarthi). Munna Bhai catches him, and Pillai tries to escape into Komal's (Aishwarya Rai) dancing class. Komal stops Munna from beating him up and makes him say sorry to Pillai. Munna straight-away falls in love with her without realizing that he is in love. Noticing that Munna Bhai seems to be ill, his sidekick takes him to Dr. Rastogi (Amitabh Bachchan), whose diagnosis is that Munna Bhai is suffering from the "love virus" which can only be cured with love. He advises Munna Bhai to try to woo the girl with whom he is smitten. What Dr. Rastogi and Munna Bhai do not realize is that this girl is none other than the doctor's younger sister. Rastogi takes Komal abroad to get her married, unaware she is in love with Raja (Ajay Devgan). Raja, in disguise fools Rastogi, and follows them abroad. Munna Bhai is then on gun-point by Pillai, and Raja saves him. Unaware of knowing they both love the same girl, Rastogi makes a torn between them, which ends up getting Raja beat up. Munna Bhai gets his gun out, but before Rastogi realizes what he has done, Komal jumps in to save Raja and is shot. Munna Bhai realizing his mistake, surrenders, and gives up the crime world, while Dr. Rastogi also realizes his mistake and lets Komal marry Raja.

Humiliés par cette défaite, les supporters et les médias accusent le joueur de corruption, ce qui ruine sa carrière. Sept ans plus tard, Kabir Khan se voit proposer d'entraîner l'équipe nationale féminine indienne pour le championnat du monde. Il accepte et commence alors le long chemin qui permettra à ces joueuses que tout oppose — milieu social, origine géographique, personnalité — de former une équipe soudée, capable de triompher aussi bien des équipes adverses que du sexisme ambiant.

Vijay Chopra (Anil Kapoor), qui a été élevé aux États-Unis, revient en Inde pour succéder à son père, Vishwanath Chopra (Anupam Kher), dans l'entreprise familiale. Vishwanath espère apporter un peu de stabilité dans la vie de son fils par le mariage mais ce dernier n'y prête aucune attention. Vishwanath, qui a beaucoup d'estime pour sa secrétaire Megha (Kajol), incite Vijay à la rencontrer. Les deux hommes trouvent enfin un compromis ; Vijay consent à épouser Megha, mais avec un contrat de mariage à l'essai : cette union ne sera valable qu'un an et ne sera prolongée que si les deux partenaires se sentent réellement complices. Dans le cas contraire, Megha devra s'en retourner définitivement chez sa famille... Bien que furieux de la décision de son fils, Vishwanath accepte un tel mariage pensant que Megha est la femme idéale qui saura faire changer d'opinion Vijay sur le mariage. Megha refuse dans un premier temps l'offre, mais issue d'une famille modeste composée de deux sœurs, Manju (Sudha Chandran) et Maya (Gracy Singh), ainsi que d'un frère, Sudhakar (Raju Shrestha), elle se résout à épouser Vijay pour des raisons financières.
