Simple Agi Ondh Love Story (Kannada: ಸಿಂಪಲ್ಲಾಗ್ ಒಂದ್ ಲವ್ ಸ್ಟೋರಿ) is a 2013 Indian Kannada romance comedy film written and directed by Suni, and stars Rakshit Shetty and Shwetha Srivatsav in the lead roles. This movie is considered as an experiment in the Kannada film Industry with all the cast and crew being newcomers. The movie created box office records though the movie lacks a star cast except Srinagar kitty who has done a cameo. The movie is being noted for its fresh story, high technical aspects and most importantly for its dialogues which has set a new trend among the Kannada film goers. According to sources, the movie will be dubbed in Telugu and will be remade in Hindi.

Synopsis

Kushal (Rakshit Shetty) is sent by his radio jockey sister Rachana to Kodagu to meet her boyfriend's sister, Ithihasini, in the hope that the two will take a liking to each other, leading to marriage, and thus paving the way for her own marriage.

The movie opens with a call for a play titled 'Bahuparak'. The play opens with a character, which is portrayed by well known thinker and stand up comedian Richard Louis, expounding tenets of life and the principles of Karma. The story moves into a scene where the three main characters namely Manas, Mani, and Mauni, all played by Srinagar Kitty are introduced and each one starts narrating their life experiences.

Abhiram (Raghu) is a rich spoilt brat who believes only in class and hates the company of poor people with low profiles. He is in deep love with Dr. Janaki, an orphan who aims to serve poor people as a doctor and give them proper medication. En route his search, Abhiram begins to slowly realize the real world and the noble intentions Janaki had in her service. Finally, the lovers meet up and what happens next forms the rest of the story.
