Thangaikku Oru Thalattu (English: A Lullaby To Sister) is a 1990 Tamil language drama film directed by K. S. Madhangan. The film features Arjun Sarja and Seetha in lead roles. The film, produced by P. Ramakrishnan, had musical score by Sankar Ganesh and was released on 23 November 1990.

Vijay (Arjun Sarja), a carefree and frolicsome youth, is sent by his father Deenadayalan (Ravichandran) in Ooty to work and becoming a responsible businessman. There, he falls in love with the college student Anjali (Vineetha). Her brothers (Mohan Raj and Vimalraj) are dangerous criminals and they are against their love because Vijay's father is a police officer. Thereafter, Devaraj is sent to jail so his brother appoints the lawyer Karnaa (Arjun Sarja) who is disabled and a sensitive person.

Sanjai (Arjun Sarja), a fearless and upright police officer, is transferred to a new city. He lives with his widowed mother (Kavitha) and sister. He also has a half-brother Ashok (Nassar) and a stepmother. Ashok works for the corrupted minister Sabapathy (Captain Raju) who is involded in liquor smuggling, procuring and illegal gambling. One day, a corrupt police officer Sridhar tries to rape an innocent girl Anjali (Kushboo). Sanjai arrives on time : he saves Anjali and he beats him. Sanjai later gets married with Anjali. Sanjai strongly supports the politician Sathyamoorthy (Charuhasan). Sabapathy decides to target Sanjai's weakpoint, his wife Anjali. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.

Manian, a cycle-rickshaw puller, is a road-side dweller along with his wife Valliamma and their seven children – two daughters and five sons. Sundarapandian (Anandaraj), an orphan and angry man, is the henchman of a rich man Manivannan (Manivannan) and he often went to jail for minor offenses. Karthikeyan (Ramkumar) enters his house as a maid and he falls with his daughter Kalyani (Saradha Preetha). In the meantime, Mallaria (Kasthuri), an orphan, tries to reform Sundarapandian and they fall in love with each other. One day, a poor girl Chellayi (Ragasudha) is raped and killed by a corrupted MLA (Vasu Vikram). Sundarapandian and Mallaria finally get married, they decide to leave the village but they don't have enough money. Manivannan prepares his daughter's wedding with the MLA and Manivannan orders Sundarapandian to kill the innocent Karthikeyan. Sundarapandian, who is now a good man, decide to join the young pair. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.

Sivaji is a director whose dream project is to make the love saga of Salim-Anarkali. After a long search for an apt girl to fit into the role of Anarkali, he finds it in a beggar girl (Nalini). He starts the movie with Nalini as Anarkali. K.R.Vijaya, wife of Sivaji starts suspecting Sivaji-Nalini relationship and this results in a mess inside their family. Nalini comes to know of this and feels that because of her, her mentor's life should not be in a mess, she leaves them without notice. Sivaji stops the project. Years pass by...Sivaji has a son now...Prabhu who is into spirituality and wishes to lead life as a brahmachari. Sivaji in one occasion, watches a dance by Bhuvani and jumps in glory that he has again found his anarkali in that danseuse. He comes to know that the girl who danced was none other than Nalini's daughter. Nalini's daughter (Bhuvani) is now chosen as Anarkali and Prabhu is selected as Salim. Prabhu and Bhuvani falls in love in real life too. K.R. vijaya comes to know of this and opposes this relationship suspecting that Bhuvani is Nalini's daughter through Sivaji. As the drama unfolds finally Prabhu and Bhuvani dies by intaking poison in a touching climax.
