Like The Singles Ward, and other films which followed it, The Singles 2nd Ward's target audience is members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and citizens of Utah. As such, references to and parodies of the Mormon and Utah subcultures pervade the film and are unlikely to be understood by non-Mormons. However, the film provides an interesting and comical view into the sometimes strange world of the Mormon culture. The Singles Ward is one of the new line of LDS comedy films by Kurt Hale.
Synopsis
The original cast is back in this sequel. Dalen (Kirby Heyborne) has finally met the girl of his dreams. Christine (Erin Chambers) is everything Dalen has ever wanted: sweet, simple, and devoted to the gospel. Too bad his future in-laws are anything but.Acteurs

After faithfully serving a full-time mission for the LDS Church and marrying, Jonathan Jordan finds himself divorced and once again a member of the LDS single adult world, where the ultimate goal is Eternal Marriage. The Best Two Years portrays the experience of four missionaries of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints living in the same apartment in Haarlem in the Netherlands. The movie begins with Elder Rogers finding out that his new companion will be a "greenie", a newly trained missionary fresh from the Missionary Training Center. He and the other two missionaries that reside in the same apartment, Elder Johnson and Elder Van Pelt, go to the train station to meet the new elder. Elder Rogers finds out that the new missionary, Elder Calhoun, is exactly what he had jokingly predicted his new companion would be like.
