Thilagar is a 2015 Tamil action drama film written and directed by Perumal Pillai. The film stars Kishore and Dhruvva in the lead roles while Mrudhula Bhaskar, Anumol and 'Poo' Ram among others form an ensemble cast. Music for the film was composed by Kannan and the film opened to mixed reviews in March 2015.

Karthik (Vishal Krishna) is a lazy, jobless, upper middle-class guy and the only son of his father who is a bank manager (T. S. B. K. Karuppu, modeste jeune homme de Madurai, travaille pour l'élevage de coqs de combat de Pettaikaran auquel il voue une grande admiration. Par ailleurs, il est tombé amoureux d'Irene, une ravissante anglo-indienne, qui est indifférente envers lui. Celle-ci finit cependant par accepter sa présence pour se débarrasser d'un autre prétendant et, progressivement, répond à l'amour de Karuppu. Pettaikaran entretient une rivalité tenace envers un autre éleveur, Rathnasamy, dont les animaux sont vaincus régulièrement par les siens et il décide de ne plus l'affronter. Mais à la demande de sa mère mourante, Rathnasamy insiste pour organiser un dernier tournoi que Pettaikaran accepte à contre cœur, peu confiant dans la loyauté de son adversaire. En effet, les bêtes que Rathnasamy a fait venir de Bangalore remportent tous les combats jusqu'au moment où, contre l'avis de Pettaikaran, Karuppu fait concourir un coq qu'il a élevé lui-même et qui apporte la victoire à l'écurie de son mentor.

A busy housewife and mother, Madhu Saxena is upset when her husband forgets her birthday. As it is on February 29, her birthday only comes once every four years. Finally, Raghav decides to give himself up to the police and Madhu returns to her family.
