Synopsis
Burma (Arya) is the son of a driver (Nassar) in a rich man Gurupadom’s (Napoleon) house. Gurupadom is Burma’s role model and his dream is to be like him. But soon his father is framed by Ayra alias Ayravadham (Kadhal Dandapani) the right-hand man of Gurupadom, and unable to bear the humiliation, he commits suicide. Burma grows up in the mean streets to be a gun dealer and waits for an opportunity to enter Gurupadom’s house and take revenge.Acteurs

Teja (Kalabhavan Mani) is a high-profile gangster in North Madras, who often imitates the behaviour characteristic of different animals for sarcastic effect. Accompanied by his gang, he arrives at a magistrate's court for a hearing. His animal antics are mocked at by "Chintai" Jeeva, another accused. Teja and his gang retaliate and kill Jeeva within the court premises. Jeeva was a member of a rival gang headed by Gemini (Vikram), an aspiring goon from Chintadripet who aspires to dethrone Teja and take his place. To avenge Jeeva's death, Gemini hunts down the murderer Pandian while Isaac, one of Gemini's men, kills him. This incident leads to a feud between Gemini and Teja, and a fight for supremacy ensues. Pandian's mother Annamma (Manorama), a destitute woman, locates the whereabouts of her son's murderers. She approaches Gemini, becomes the gang's cook and awaits a chance to poison them.

Arivazhagan (Manoj) has grown up to be a rowdy because of the neglect and ill-treatment by the hands of his parents and his only aim in life is to be an irritant to his father. The entire family attends the marriage of Savitri (Richa) in Bangalore and when the groom disappears, Arivu offers to take his place. The marriage never happens but Savitri shows up at Arivu's house later, asking him to give her refuge. When he moves out of the house to take up residence with his friends, she follows him there too. Initially irritated by her, Arivu realises that he is gradually falling in love with her. Meanwhile, the friends learns that Savitri left her own surroundings just to get over the gruesome suicide of her close friend Nisha (Preetha), a victim of eve-teasing. Nisha's brother Kishore (karan) and her family are still haunted by her death and the brother promises to avenge on the person who was the cause of his sister's death. Who is responsible for Nisha's suicide, and will Arivu succeed on proposing his love towards Savitri forms the rest of the story.

Jagan (R. Madhavan) and Jamuna (Amoga) meet in a shopping mall in Chennai. They like each other and spend a day chatting in the coffee shop. Jamuna, a believer in destiny, writes down her address and telephone number on a Rs.100 note and makes the payment at the cafe declaring that if the note comes back to Jagan then it means that he was destined to meet her.
