David A. Goodman is an American writer and producer and a graduate of the University of Chicago, where he earned a BA in 1984. He was one of the executive producers of Family Guy, beginning its fourth season, joining the show as a co-executive producer in season three. He was also a writer for several television series, such as The Golden Girls (his first job), Futurama (where he was also a co-executive producer, and writer of the famous Futurama Star Trek parody episode "Where No Fan Has Gone Before") and Star Trek: Enterprise. David Goodman also produced Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story. He is also the writer for Fred: The Movie, a 2010 film based on the Fred Figglehorn YouTube series and the sequel Fred 2: Night of the Living Fred.
During the commentary for the Futurama episode "Where No Fan Has Gone Before" (which he wrote), he mentioned he is a huge Star Trek fan, with an encyclopedic knowledge of the original series. It is also noted that every episode number and name mentioned is 100% correct in the episode. He also states in the commentary that his work for Futurama involving the Star Trek episode was partly what got him a job after Futurama writing for Star Trek: Enterprise.
Goodman is also known for his deep throat voice which has been poked fun at numerous times in Family Guy audio commentaries, particularly by the creator Seth MacFarlane and writer Alec Sulkin who both believe his voice sounds a lot like Ray Romano's. As a result, Goodman has voiced parodies of Romano in Family Guy episodes by not doing an impression, but by simply talking.
In 2011, Goodman left Family Guy in order to produce the animated Fox series Allen Gregory. After Allen Gregory got canceled, he became an executive producer of MacFarlane's other show, American Dad!.

Fred goes into music class to find his favourite teacher, Mrs. Felson, has been replaced by a teacher named Mr. Devlin. Walking home from school, Fred notices a strange girl named Talia following him. Fred believes he is being stalked, but the girl just walks the same way to school as him. Spying on Devlin that night, Fred sees him burying something, which he suspects is the body of Mrs. Felson. Kevin's mother invites Fred and his mother to a party for Mr. Devlin. At the party, Fred's mother falls for Mr. Devlin, and Fred learns that Talia is actually Kevin's sister.

Fred Figglehorn, an unpopular, hyperactive and puerile 15-year-old who wears childish dungarees and striped t-shirts, believes himself to be cool and a good singer. Les Griffin sont à la piscine et en profitent pour apprendre à nager à Stewie qui y met de la mauvaise volonté. Peter se voit proposer un poste de chroniqueur au journal télé en raison de son bagout. Vexé d'avoir fini dernier de la nage, Stewie prend le meilleur élève en grippe et décide de l'éliminer en piégeant le siège du secouriste à l'aide d'explosifs. Mais la bombe a un dysfonctionnement et le fauteuil s'écrase sur Stewie, qui se retrouve un court moment en Enfer avant d'émerger de son court coma. Marqué par l'expérience, Stewie, qui ne veut pas y retourner, décide de devenir gentil et tente de se montrer amical avec tout le monde. Mais Brian fait facilement resurgir sa personnalité au grand dam de ce dernier. Stewie commence alors à boire pour se calmer. Brian pousse Stewie à se saouler à mort afin de le dégoûter de l'alcool à jamais mais il boit également et finit aussi bourré que le gamin qui défonce le mur du bar en voiture, ce qui provoque le renvoi de Peter de son poste au journal. La leçon a cependant porté et Stewie, pour se trouver, cherche quelqu'un qui puisse le comprendre. Stewie voit alors à la télé un passant qui lui ressemble se faire interviewer et croit voir en lui son véritable père. Stewie décide de se rendre en Californie retrouver l'inconnu et s'embarque dans le van de Quagmire qui part faire le tour de l'Amérique pour ses vacances. Mais le voyage prend trop de temps aux yeux de Stewie qui vole le camion lors d'une étape pour aller plus vite.
