Eşref Kolçak (born 28 January 1927) is a Turkish actor. He is father of the musician Harun Kolçak.

Biographie

Eşref Kolçak was born in Erzurum but at the age of 14, his family moved to İstanbul. He studied at the Sultan Ahmet Arts Institute. In 1944, he appeared in his first play at the Atilla Review. In 1947, he made his film debut and went on to appear in over 180 films and series. Kolçak won a Golden Orange in 2000 for his performance in Güle Güle.

Elif is a married woman who has just caught her husband cheating. Ali is an investor on the verge of making a huge deal which could be very profitable, though at a high risk. The two cross paths at a bookstore and when they purchase the book "Yeşil Işık" ("Green Light"), and have a magical experience at the intervention of a figure observing them. This film tells the story of a circle of five friends (four men and a woman) who are longtime residents of the Aegean island Bozcaada.
