Jose Pellissery (1950 – December 5, 2004) was an Indian film and theatre actor.
Pellissery was a partner of the theatre company Chalakudy Sarathy Theatres. He performed in about a dozen plays produced by this company under the direction of Thilakan, including Five Star Hospital, Alakal, Indhanam, Fassahu, Mochanam Nale, Adisankaran Janicha Naattil, and Chamayam.
Pellissery also acted in a number of Malayalam TV serials, such as Chitta, Meghanidhi, and Kayamkulam Kochunni.
Pellissery died at a private hospital in Chalakudy on Dec5 2004, following a heart attack. He was 54. He is survived by his wife, son Lijo Jose Pellissery and a daughter. His son directed the movies Nayakan, City of God and Amen.

Vinod (Pritviraj) is in love with Aswathy (Karthika Mathew) a member of the Lakshmipuram royal family, which has many dark secrets. When Aswathy's mother refuses her to marry Vinod, she elopes and marries him. Just before the birth of their child, Vinod and Aswathy make up with the royal family consisting of two uncles, Pooradam Thirunal Valiya Koyi Thampuran (Jagathi Sreekumar) and Pooradam Thirunal cheriya Koyi Thampuran (Jagadeesh), and their wives. Later a child is born to them and Aswathy dies mysteriously during the delivery. Her grandmother is bedridden by now. The baby is called Ammu (Taruni Sachdev) and is looked after by the members of the family who start thinking that the little girl is possessed by an evil spirit. Vinod hires Indu(Meenakshi) to babysit Ammu. Later the family members understand that Indu is also possessed by an evil spirit.

Harikrishnan (Jayasurya) is the adopted younger brother of Karunan (Lal). When Karunan loses his right hand in an accident, Hari at a young age takes responsibility of his family. Karunan's sister, Sreekutti is in love with the son of Paramanandam (Jagathy Sreekumar), who is unscrupulous and demands a huge dowry for the marriage to be made possible. Seetha, born in an orthodox Hindu family, falls in love with the lower-caste Unni and later elopes with him to Bombay. Four years later, one day, Unni goes missing at Bombay. Seetha is pregnant and had to return to her native place. Through a newspaper report, Seetha comes to know that Unni has committed suicide after knowing he was infected with HIV. The heart-broken Seetha is isolated by the society and even by her parents who believe that she is also infected. Abu, a kind-hearted Muslim ferryman is her only help. Hated and isolated by the society, Abu and Seetha has to face lot of troubles. One day, filmmaker Lohithadas, a friend of Unni, visits Seetha and informs her that Unni was killed by the Bombay underworld and the AIDS-news was all crafted by the wicked media. Meanwhile, some people try to kick Seetha out of the village and burn her house. The film ends with Seetha, her new-born baby and Abu fleeing to another village.
