The story of Ithinumappuram follows a girl named Rukmini Nair, played by Meera Jasmine, who is born and brought up in an affluent family. Rukmini's horoscope indicates she is a girl with "Chovva Dosham", meaning she was born under a bad sign of Mars. This means when she marries someone he will die soon and her family must work very hard to marry her off. By luck, Rukmini's family finds a match. However, Rukmini falls in love with a man who works in her home, Karthikeyan (played by Riyaz Khan) and elopes with him against the wishes of her family.

The movie starts with Prince( Dileep) as a worker at a dog clinic owned by Dr Muthu, and Peter is filming a documentary of the clinic. His life changes when an affluent rich lady Elizabeth and her dog enters his life . The female dog becomes pregnant and dies due to a tumor. She delivers 4 babies but unfortunately only one baby could be saved . Prince names the puppy 'Diana'. Diana becomes famous after she acts in a movie which eventually becomes a superhit. Later on she does a movie with the actress Diana who had betrayed Prince earlier. At last Diana loses the case for getting Diana and she learns a lesson that fame is not everything .

"Tune in for a change" is the tagline attached to Radio in the credits. The storyline is about a girl Priya who comes to the city for a job as a salesgirl in a jewellery shop,with a load of debt to pay off, played by Sarayu. She is new to the ways and customs of the city life. Her co-worker, Iniya character Shweta, gives her accommodation, since she has no place or relative home to stay in the city. Shweta goes out at every night, where Nishan’s character Manu, comes to pick her up. Whole picture of the storyline is clear, Shweta. a five star prostitute and associate Manu as pimp,for securing her business. It is a shock to Priya when she realizes the truth about Shweta and decides to leave her friendship and apartment.

In Nadodimannan, Padmanabhan (Dileep) plays a village youth who does not have a particular inclination towards any political party and joins any protest being held. He earns a living by participating in demonstrations for various political parties. He then reaches the city where he is strung to the upper levels of society and gets elected as the Mayor. His conflicts and attempts to cleanse the city form the rest of the story. Ananya plays the character of Meera, who lives in difficult surroundings, but is bold. Archana Kavi plays Aathira, a member of a former royal family, Mythili stars as Rima, a broadcast journalist Padmanabhan befriends during his activist days, who helps him bring to light certain crucial issues before the public. Bollywood actor Sayaji Shinde plays the local king pin who is at odds with Padmanabhan.Currently this movie is going well and getting mixed reviews both from audience and critics.The performance of the Dileep and other actors is good. Highlight of the movie is the demolition techniques shown in the climax, which is new to mollywood. Another highlight of this movie is that it touches some social issues.

The film begins with the City Police Commissioner Bharath Chandran (Joju George) jumping over the compound wall of a house who is having an affair with house owner's wife. The house owner confronts commissioner and beats and breaks his arm. It then shifts to a man at a friend's house asking where his friend and a don named Jimmy is, as there is work for him to do for the man. He reveals his work is to transport the pirated DVD of the upcoming releasing movie Hotel California and in which Jimmy has to transport it through the airport safely. It shifts to Kamala Nambiar (Maria Roy) a dancer practicing dance receives a call informing that what she ordered is ready (It is not revealed what she ordered to audiences). It once again shifts to Aby Mathew (Shankar Panikkar) a lusting married middle aged man, who contacts a pimp to have sex with a television actress named Swapna Joseph (Honey Rose) who agrees to have sex with him for a large sum of money. Then Sasi Pillai is shown talking about a hot topic for news reporting about the don named Airport Jimmy. In which it shifts to the scene of Airport Jimmy (Jayasurya) in high class bar.
