She starred 4 seasons as Jen Sutton, a strong independent and supportive wife and mother on the ABC Family series, “Lincoln Heights,” which garnered her two NAACP Image Award Nominations for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series. “Lincoln Heights” also won the NAACP award for Outstanding Drama Series and currently remains popular on TvOne.
She also stars in the Showtime feature film “Rain,” a moving film about a mother struggling with poverty and AIDS in the Bahamas, alongside CCH Pounder and Irma P. Hall. She also co-starred with Academy Award winner Halle Berry in the highly rated telefilm, “Oprah Winfrey Presents: Their Eyes Were Watching God.” She recently completed work on the Kate Beckinsale film, “Trials of Cate McCullough” and the indie horror film, “The Pact2”.
She was born in Detroit, Michigan but considers Houston, Texas her hometown. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her 2 children.

Robert's (Lee) life has been going just the way he wanted it to, from both a professional and personal standpoint. That is until his girlfriend Cheri (Williams) tells him she's expecting. There are three ongoing plots in the film. The primary one surrounds a white trash, trailer park family in which the daughter is sleeping with her mother's husband, prompting the mother to constantly try to outdo her promiscuous daughter's behavior out of spite, including sleeping with her daughter's boyfriend. The secondary plot revolves around an urban black woman whose boyfriend is sleeping with her two best friends, but the three are united against the boyfriend when he begins sleeping with the daughter of the above-mentioned family. The third plot revolves around Jerry and the show itself, detailing the difficulty Jerry faces in trying to come to terms with his rather dubious claim to fame, and the staff's utter amazement at the bizarre stories they must deal with.
