The movie begins in 1983, where Dr. Mathew Devasya (Renji Panicker) anxiously paces the hall outside of a delivery room. He learns that his wife has delivered a baby boy and thanks God for the good news. A stranger comments that Mathew was lucky not to have a daughter, as he would have had to worry about her all his life. As the stranger says this, a nurse comes out of the delivery room carrying the baby, apologizing that she made a mistake, and confirming that the baby is actually a girl. Mathew glares at the stranger and praises God once again .

Roshan (Sunny Wayne) is a cosmetic surgeon and a casanova by nature. Abu (Sanju), a budding filmmaker and Joe (Praveen), a TV show producer, are his friends. Joe has just been ditched by his girl friend Ann (Poojitha Menon). A devastated Joe heads over to Goa along with his friends to get over the tragedy that has befallen him. At Goa, Roshan and Abu have a merry time with "spicy girls" Alice (Rohini Mariam Idicula) and Sania (Parvathy Nair), while Joe stalks Ann who has arrived at the beach town as well with her new boy friend Peter (Shani). Meanwhile Joe falls for Anjali (Sija Rose), a hotel receptionist, and he decides to stay in Goa even after his friends leave for Kochi.

Sidharth (Indrajith) is the creative head of a prominent advertising agency. He has just been transferred to Kochi from Bangalore. Veena is Siddhu's girlfriend and runs a contemporary dance troupe. Icha (Nivin Pauly) is Veena's friend and a waiter in an upmarket coffee shop. When they fail to find a suitable place for Siddhu to stay, Veena suggests that he share Icha's place until he finds his own accommodation. Siddhu instantly agrees, but Icha agrees reluctantly. Soon Siddharth and his girlfriend Veena find themselves caught in a horrific riddle - they find Icha at two different places at the same time. Their search for answers turns to be a brilliant psychological probe and forms the crux of the story.
